hey im in the process of doing a canvas, i let it dry for about one hour, and im trying to use sum paint pens on it but it isnt writing smoothly. i think it might still be a little wet. or mayb im using shitty pens (painty paint pens)

Its all depends on how many layers of paint you put on.. and how thick.

Lets it set and dry, and cure for about a day then paint it. just to be safe.

Cause when its to thick.. Then the paint needs to cure for much longer to become smooth and hard.

you can also do it with a semi-dry paint brush, takes longer but you don&#39;t have to hassle with an airbrush and pay the cash to get one.

These pieces were masked and painted using Golden Fluid acrylics.

Not sure about the archival quality of masonite. I think if it is not in moisture, it should hold up as well as any other type of surface. If I am wrong, somebody let me know. I am going to do some more research myself.

Theres this stuff for mono printing. Its like this clear thin plastic . You print what you want on it and then once it&#39;s done printing you flip it over and press it down on whatever surface you choose. I dont know if that is what he did but this is an option. Im feelin that canvas as well.

foam core is like a piece of board but its made out of durable foam it wont bend n shit its ment to put plasters on it to paint over.
