so has anyone thought about there plans about what to do with them selfs after graffiti?

lately ive been thinking if its all worth it and i have decided for some reason it is.

the only thing left now is to make something out of my love for graffiti and jsut wondering if anyone else has thought of this?

i was thinking jobs such as:

signwriting
graphic design

it sucks because i really love writing. and i really love music.

and i want to pursue a music career. but still write.

and i dont want writing to just slowly fade out of my life.

but i know that might happen if i get hardcore into the business.

damn.

I'll probably do what I do and have been doing...paint once in a while...if I do other shit I'll eventually think of graffiti again and apply whatever I've learned to it...then paint again and repeat...legals, tunnels...the occasional bombing, catching tags...etc. etc. but I won't dedicate my whole life in any instant to it, a month or weeks at a time most definitely.

dont really wanna think about it right now. im just getting started so i dont have plans to do anything except increase the amount im doing right now. but i sincerely doubt imma be pursuing a graffiti related career in 10-15 years.

my sentiments exactly. there are things in my life much more important to me than graffiti, but it's ubiquitous - i go shopping and critique the letters on storefronts and logos and shit. you really can't escape from graffiti.

sorry. only read to this and had to reply.
yes it worked for banksy. how many thousands of stencil artists are there that it didnt work for?how many dozens of thousands of graffiti artists are there that it isnt working for.
i mean, not to rain on theparade, because "anything" is possible, but. the chances of that happening are so slimn. if that works for you, my hat is off to you sir, so good luck

www.itshiphop.tv is redoing its site for august and is looking for tight graf vids. if you have anything interesting (writers in action, interviews, festivals), send them to info@itshiphop.tv (u can use www.sendspace.com, www.yousendit.com, etc). The vids will be showcased in a new channel on the site.

i dont plan on quitting. like i think there will be a time where i dont go bombing any more. or dont paint anymore. but i think when i "retire" i might open up a graffiti shop and see what happens.
might start a company making merchandise or something. i dont know i will see what the market is like then and decide if it is worth while to persue.

well i immagen when you have a wife and kids sneaking out in the early hours, breaking into yards and scaling walls just to paint wont seem as important as paying the bills, but theres no reason to stop sketching, if you keep developing youd be a master by the age of 90, make a fuckload of canveses
