yoo man try adding an undercoat before u start painting to the whole canvas...
lk thin down some serious yellow or blue or something so its realllly transperant and liquidy and then lightly apply it after when u start painting those lil white spots in your art wont be there

you used a brush? i hate doing shit with a brush. I have to tho since I dont have any paint markers. Isn't using paint markers cheating? well, I use a brush cuz it's the right thing to do i guess. aside from that, your canvas looks good besides the splatter paint in the middle IMO... Personally I hate splatter effects. all it needs is some checker board on it to make it official.

alright guys, let me show you a few sketches I made. I'm pretty new to this and have been doing my homework. I think I came up with a prett decent style that I can add on to. The first one is my nick. I think it'd be fun to spray paint "Where's Waldo" and the an image of Waldo spray painting on a wall. So here's the concept art, if you will. (next 4) then the last one which was suppose to be a storm trooper, but I suck at drawing, so I have to go from there.

Was very boooored one day. Wanted just to test if stencil will stay on the shoe nice. Old fucked up shoe, it has got holes in it so I ain't going to wear that shit. I'm using it as a pencil holder. Hope i'll get some good paint and some cheap shoes, then I can start pimping them yo :p

Snew - background is cool, character is ok too, don't like the letters.

Said - something about it looks wierd, face is fucked up lil bit, I think that the left cheak is too big.

IlikePie - I hope you fill had more stuff in it if you are ever going to finish it, it's pretty retarded to do small letters on the bottom of the canvas and left everything else blank like everybody are doing nowadays. Background is nice.

mosezone - stencil of that girl is dope, I think you should had make the letters or the stencil more bigger to cover up that empty space. The legs of "k" look wierd, "y" (if it is y) is pretty fucked up. Your cracks don't look very relistict, you should make them in different size, wider near the edges and skinnier on other ways. Add some highlights under the cracks, maybe it helps. Just use a easy way, take someones work with good cracks and bite them.

capitol - don't feel the shaket highligts on that mosh or mash, you should work on your handstyle, the bottom one looks better, don't like the last letter and the negative space between n and v.

peor - add more colors and shit, that looks bit boring.

cirus905 - take your time, it's a canvas not a illegal wall :D not feeling the brown fill and the lines are shakey on first one, throws are ok, on that last one with yellow background you should fill that space in between those two pieces, add more colors, and work with your letters.

work on your simples ALOT before you ever try something like that again. The background is sick but man you really need to get some letter structure. Trust me I used to write like that too..... I went back to simples, I use bars and now Im just starting to add simple basic extensions.

starts of with tags ( wack conections handwritingish looking or super pointy with lots of arrows)

Then Learns about the bomb ( squiggily lines comeing out of everything and everywhere rough bubleish looking letters)

Learns to "piece" ( dont even get me started)

Goes back to simple basic tags ( basic keyboard font with stupid "bits coming off")

Gets generic bubble letters down

Learns about the straight letter ( fails miserably and looks less like a straight letter and more like a mess)

Tries to piece again and ends up with extensions from no where And no letter structure

Gets normal flowing tags, shitty but at least not Uber Im a 8 year old with a marker toy

Gets a bomb with some style

Finally does a decent simple keyboard syle font straight letter

Straight lettters begin to get curvy

straight letters begin to get extensions

Begins on thick to thin lines.

Makes a thick to thin simple
