Here is some stuff I did for a party my friend threw... and at the time i didnt know about different tips for spray paint so i used a straight piece of cardboard and the crappy stock tip...they are all on refrigerator boxes

im working on a canvas right now, but when i try to layer my decos, the new color revives the old one and they start blending....help me. it also doesnt help the fact that i put a tempera paint as the background coat, so now i cant put a acrylic sealer on each level of the deco to prevent this. balls.

name, that is a really good canvas, but next time, make the piece a bit bigger and use colours that contrast to the background.

cel, thats a nice piece, but the arrow underneath the O makes it look a bit like an E. You should post this in the bombs and pieces thread, because thats where people give crits for pieces.

Yeah, I didn't have many colors to choose from, or else I would have done some bright blue with some white highlights.

I'll keep note of the image tags, but the actual image is pretty big and didn't want to stretch the page on yas.

Cel: I'm digging it so far, definitely get some colors on there. Not sure if it's just me, but it seems like there's a little too much background stuff going on, but then again, could also be because there's no color yet.

Im from Europe so im using Crayon markers. They are for all surfaces and i got it in local art store. As i know in USA everybody use deco color markers... so idk where are you from! :D

You can get canvases quite cheap from a £store. Over here in england you can get like a double set for around £3. Which is quite good cus you can reeuse them as you said.

Okay, thanks. Not trying to use this as an excuse, but it was literally the first piece I had ever tried, so I've learned a (tiny) bit since. The only reason I even tried it on canvas was because I had one laying around that I needed to paint over, and Deco's work over painted canvas so beautifully. I'll work on some more simps. Thanks

Got some new paint today and wanted to test it out, plus I wanted to practice fading and my can control on sharp edges , instead of thick fuzzy lines, so I started a background on an old canvas. Not sure what else I'm going to add to the background before I start working on a diagonal piece through it.

Thanks guys. It's my first canvas other than that shtity kanye stencil a few posts up.
I'll try and snap a picture with a real camera, it looks a lot better without the yellowish cell-camera lighting.

The bottom right bubbles are actually a pinkish-fuschia color, not red, and the top left are more of a greenish color, and A LOT cleaner than the picture shows. The fade is more noticeable too, I know the pic makes it just look like one solid shade of turquoise.

Now I've just got to work on something to actually write/piece across it.

you should have done the background first xD
and if you can't come up with a background... are you creative? the background should be the most fun/easiest(usually) part. you can do anything to your hearts desire. are you going to do a theme? do you want the theme of the piece mostly in the background? do you want a character? or do you just want a simple gradient that would go nice with your color scheme?

I currently have prismacolor markers for all my sketch book work, but i know those wont work on canvas, Will any paint marker work? and what kind of paint markers are good?

actually, prismas DO work. If you look up at the one I posted you see the stencil? I colored in the stencil with prismas.
EDIT: to clarify, I mean the dog stencil, not the RIP stencil. (I forgot I used two...)

lose the arrows, extensions and lil extras... looks lke ur trying too hard to beyond what u know as far as letter structure goes... also on a sidenote about the clouds... whats with the black drips coming off them? even when the clouds are cocked sideways (which looks weird in the first place), the drips should follow gravity, not the direction the cloud is tilted..
