i stock up on so many because last year i sold about 75 canvas&#39;... and i was moving to another town where i wasn&#39;t sure if i would be able to rack markers safely. this store had them all outta the packages in the back corner, of course im going to rape them as i move outta town.

the sharpies are from superstore, &#036;20 or something for a 25 pack so many colors i never saw, so that went down my pants.

i havent seen any decos at mine but they do have prismas

For me decos are like the easiest supply to find, you can get them at basically any arts and crafts store and usually if they carry decos they&#39;ve got tons of them

just try the cap on a can, if it doesnt work you can save the rusto and use a stock tip on the can.


and construction paper cannot replace carbon paper, the ingredient that makes that ink dark and perminent is the shit from the carbon paper.

if you used construction paper all you would have is a very flammable lump of contruction paper

true, i cant picture the construction paper working... all you&#39;d be getting is a bit of dye bleeding from the paper into your alcohol..

what makes carbon ink good is the actual carbon dyes..

around here WalMart ColorPlace paint is &#036;3.47 a can... up from &#036;2.50ish last summer or the summer before... personally i don&#39;t mind the qualty of the paint (i mostly bomb though), and it comes in quite a few colors...

ColorVision is &#036;4.37 a can...

Canadian Dollars of course..

but we have this Champion brand paint on sale there... &#036;1.97 a can in white/black only... not sure of the quality though

if it dosent work, why was i able to make it work? just for shits and giggles, try it and then tell me it dosent work so youll have something to back that comment up. it does work, but probably dosent make good ink. it does extrack some of the dye from the construstion paper and it does make the alchohol a different color.

with montana the thing is pressure mannn :P humm and the color choices beat krylon
soooo smooth...but i must admit they fuck up in the cold with the usual fat cap so do true colorz :( ...but there is nothing like a fat cap on a krylon flat black ...hum smell&#39;s like bananas :D

blubber has nice color,
and all their colors go well together

the paint feels and looks a lot like krylon, but lower pressure.

the only caps that i have that worked with blubber are
ny thins
ny fats
and rustos

none of my monatana caps work with blubber

its more drippy than any other paint i use
watery stuff

its the first time that american graffiti artists have actually made some real paint though, and you gotta keep in mind that this was their first production run.

in a few years this stuff is gonna be great

yeah man do not get the scrawl pen, its&#39; horrible for anything besides cement. The only good thing about it is it&#39;s permanent and is really hard to get off anything. If you want a real meanstreak that&#39;s really good go for the sakuras, they&#39;re the best ever.

as you can guess, the city i&#39;m currently in is pretty small... but i spent a lot of time in larger cities but i&#39;m not too familiar with what stores have what in those cities...

anyway, is there more markers that use the same system? are any on my list wrong (seeing how i dont have that much experience with most of them)?

i also saw a fabric marker at walmart in a clearance bin that looks like it might be the on the same system but with a shorter barrel tube.. so i&#39;ll check that out.

oblong, do you find that the nibs that come in those garden craft markers work better than the rectangular ones that come in montanas and the like? i havent used the garden craft markers but uniposcas have the same nib (with that part at the bottom cut out like that), and to me it seems to work better... more ink seems to get through.

yes the montana nibs seem tot ake a while to absord the paint and the paint seems to run alot better throught the woodcrafts/terra cottas with the crazy shaped nib. your right SO many markers use the exact same pump its crazy. i just mad myself a banch of krink

yes i know that, i was asking if he finds the ones with the notches cut on the bottom to work better... because i know i do. i dumped the shitty orange paint out of my aerosol art marker, filled it with black pilot supercolor ink and opted to put in a nib from a uniposca and it works sexxxtremely great.

krink from colour place aluminim rust paint = A1. it what i use too.

haha, on a side note, anybody else think that the paint that comes in aerosol art markers such way too much balls?

the ink is fucking terrible
seperates in about 3 seconds
and needs way to much shaking

thats strange. the aerosol art markers have the rectangular shaped nibs like the montanas, and uniposcas have the crazy shaped nib like the garden crafts.. but i put a uniposca nib into an aerosol art marker and filled it with pilot ink and it works amazing.

not to mention the paint in it turns into a sticky solid latex piece of shit the second any bit of moisture or water hits it... so if you write on a surface that isn&#39;t perfectly dry, or if its an overly humid day your nib can dry up pretty quick...

and it goes hard and clogs your pump system after a while.... shitty ink that not only sucks but ruins the marker as well.

haha, but seriiously, it was weird, i rinsed out the marker under my tap, and all the ink inside just suddenly turned solid, so i had to like scoop it out. and the thing in the drain that keeps things from falling in has like an orange rubber layer over it...

yeah you have to clean them out with paint thinner, i found out the hard way to.
