dude you dont stick it on right away...
you let the spray adhesive dry a little so its kinda tacky...
this will only work for a few sprays then you gotta reapeat...
and if yor stencil is likely to rip then yor using too weak a material..
try something stronger.

best for stencils so far that ive used is acetate plastic. hellaeasy to cut, transparent to ucan jsut put it over your sketch to cut, paint doesnt affect it since its plastic...

im usin bristal board, about the size of a regular sheet of paper

and i tryed bending it already but it only stayed flat for ONE spray, then the next one i did looked like a blob

hey kare2, try using spray adhesive, but let it dry for about 5 minutes, than put your fingers onb it to make sure no adhesive comes off.

if it doesnt, put it on a wall, and youll be able to peel it right off.

i know most people use wheat paste or walpaper adhesive for their posters
but for the past bit i have been using these spray adheasives
they are much more money but are alot easier to carry around
by the time i uploaded the pic i relisded the one can was backwards
and in french so sorry about that, anyways check it out and tell me if any of you guys have tried this stuff.

and the loctite has a crazy adjustable width spray fan cap
i have it going at aprox an 8 inch fan spray

ive tried the elmers but it didnt stick too well unless you used alot and then after a day or so you can see the adhesive because it starts to turn this nasty yellow color and ruins the poster. personally i like wheatpaste, but ive never tried that other spray.

i have had a poster up on a pole for 9 months right now
and i had used wallpaper glue on it and i dont think

iight yall last night i was in an ally way when i saw and over flowing dumpster from express (the chick store) and i seen these thick plastic peice that are used for shirts and there was about 100 of them so i took them all and threw um in my car and what im doing is though out this month and next month im painting them up like canvas&#39;s and placing them all over in areas wheres theres alot of people.... i tryed it last night and seen 2 out of 5 people pick um up and take them on there walk... i only did 8 today and heres the flicks... notice the new stencil in there

i just painted my first stencil yesterday

i wish i had a digital camera to use to post pictures with. I have some disposible cameras but im not about to go have the person working at the 1 hour photo place developing my pics of my stencils. If i went back to places when it&#39;s light out i could probably just claim that i&#39;m photographing them and they&#39;re not mine.

i&#39;ve been making stencils and trying to learn to draw better at the same time. I&#39;m taking a drawing class soon that supposedly will teach anyone how to draw well by the end. I&#39;ll see how that works out.

I&#39;ve only made a few stencils at this point, one of a small panther (like a 1 page long) that i was putting up on window sills trying to make it look like it was walking on it, it loked bad becuase of the mass amounts of overspray around it. A few nights ago i made one of a security camera (i based it off a photo i got on the internet). It looks good but i really had planned it to be high up like in a place cameras usually are. It was supposed to be about my strange fear of being seen through cameras. I never tell anyone about it but i feel really strange when i walk past a security camera aimed at me. I was thinking of finding my way onto roofs of short buildings but it&#39;s hard enough to get out of the house without my parents going crazy.

I know of some other people in my town who do stencils (they dont know of my activities) but im not really in the same crowd as them, maybe if my stuff gets noticed (hopefully more than theirs, their stuff gets ignored a lot even though its really good) i could maybe work with them. It would be nice to have someone i could talk about all this with.

i think you should do contra.. its a little more subtle than the third one, i like street art thats subtle and plus not many people know what the contras were so it might invoke more research of something. my cousin is ben linder, i dont know if you know of him, he started this huge hydroelectric power system in nicaragua and then was killed by the contras. i htink it was a big contraversy cause hes american.
