1. it was over a memorial to a dead writer freind of JA's (could be sane)
2. MSK and AWR are down with MQ, and JA and MQ have beef, and by definition anyone down with MQ has beef with JA, ja handled his beef in a great way.

This is the kinda thing that got me into painting, the things I look at and can't even begin to figure out how they did that with a spray can. I flicked this piece in Cleveland last week, it was just so cleen, so simple and the placement was perfect. I'll post it when I get it deveolped.

OK I have to get in on the debate. First off, art fag, street cred. or not, MaClaim Crew Don't fuck around, and could probably burn a lot of the writers out there. They are artist/writers, not just vandals. There's nothin' wrong with that. Some of those flix posted look awfully covert, and underground. Some of them do look "legal" too. Let's just think of Legal work as public relations; it improves image. When bombing one writes for writers, not the public. On the other hand you don't see very many strictly "street cred." artists get gallery shows and rock the holy shiz out some canvas either. It all depends on what you are into and where u want to go with it. Yes. Daim and others have formal training, but you don't just go to art school and, kaboom, all of the sudden you can kick ass. It takes skill and practice. Just like average joe writer, they had to put in work too. I go to school for art and design, and I paint too; legally, and illegally. If that makes me an art fag then I guess I am, but I think my girl would disagree. It's not just a, no pun intended, black and white issue here. Oh yeah, and I don't think that Daim and friends would have risked this on thier trip to America if they were strictly "art fags":

I dunno about you but maybe bush just wanted to get what was up for grabs while we were still there.

and the war on terrorism could have been over when the taliban, osama and all of his men were cornered by us troops in afghanistan but did we take em out? NO! bush decided to take out a large portion of the strrops stationed in afghanistan and send em to iraq. So now we have terrorists running all over the world, a war thats no ending anytime soon, taxes are being raised and lowered, the budgets are shrinking in our schools, gas is still not back to normal yet people can still write off a 100000 hummer if they are a lawyer or small buisness owner, people who by hyrbirds can only write that off for 5000 and thats going to phase out within the next couple of years, and here I am thinking golly gee i'm such an individual with my anti war statements but boy things are sure going fine.

And the Say sticker is more than alright.
While this is all a matter of opinion, neither of them suck.
And just because your opinion differed from mine, there was no reason for you to post a smart-ass comment after I posted 2 pieces that I find to be exemplary.
Like I said, this is a matter of opinion, and as far as I'm concerned, both these drawings exhibit masterful abilities. For instance, when Test posted his sketch he added that it was a quickie done at work and he made a point of mentioning that the letters were in different styles. These things aside, it's a dope sketch as far as I'm concerned. There's a sick handstyle, cleverly done shadows and overlapping, the cracks in the E are hot; it's a solid sketch. So if you think it's so wack, take it up with him but don't belittle it on here as if you can do better.
As for the Say sketch, it's better than "aite." The coloring is phenomenal, the symmetry is on point, and the extensions make it without being overdone.
So stop trying to be a funny little smart ass by making snide comments after other people's legitimate posts. In my opinion, these sketches are prime examples of solid work, the kind of work I wish there was tons of on this site. So if you have the audacity to diss either one of these sketches, improve the site's content by posting some good work (or any) of your own.
