I can normally do like 3-4 full throws with two dollar cans, which are both 10oz. They're also not that dusty either. I do think throws look better dusty though, and plus you save the paint so you can get up more.

Some dollar cans are like that with me as well. Some are just like a stock, or a little bigger, but that's it. If you go around to KMarts and different hardware stores, you might find some dollar cans that can do normal astro fat sized sprays. It's happened to me before, so just keep looking.

And I agree, if you use premium paint for practice or a shitty spot, that's a waste.

That's why I think it's important to lay down the facts when you're putting some kid on to graff.

Yeah man it sucked man.. I was way to drunk to run I would have fell and shit... My boy kept giving me shots of captain Morgan... Dumbest decision I made all year man.... yeah when ever i go out sober i def play it safe, always make sure there's more than 1 exit. And always watch my back for the police or even just people walking by. I'm like 5 min away from a shop that deals a lotta 'Lak. That paint is far superior when it comes to colors like black and white. I bought some off brand from Ace for half the price and the black is no where near as bold even when spraying white walls. After two or three times facing this frustration I vowed, even though they are the most basic colors, to only buy Lak when it comes to white and black.

Other colors are eh I'll try to buy rusto whenever possible (if i know i don't need premo paint cus it's a nice wall) but man Lak will cover a wall like brick so solid.

I'm kinda used to going out by myself now, it used to totally blow. You should just bike around during the day and catch tags when nobody's looking. It's a good way of getting up, and getting in shape. I bike about 4-5 miles a day and do just this, and I use paint whenever I have a good night off to go hit things up.

if you make an effort to conceal an item, or otherwise act like you plan on stealing the item, then the security (or management if they don't have security) will most likely approach you.

What kind of books / markers are you guys rockin?

Started sketching and dicking around in my blackbook with sharpy pens and pencils and some cheap markers, but wanted to get some more vibrant colors and markers going.. Sharpies were out of the question and I knew they would be from the beginning because they bleed through like crazy, and I thought picking up something like Primas would be decent colors with no bleeding.. but they still do occasionally. Does anyone have ways to combat bleeding onto other pages? Do I just need a new book with thicker pages?

Adding in to the racking conversation a page back or so.. it sucks here too. The only place that sells any half decent markers in singles and whatnot is a small family owned art store and I'm not really down for racking from them, plus it's a way small shop and I wouldn't get away with it.
