i think its the concept that straight edge hardcore kids(excuse the generalization) are dicks. wich can be very true.
but the same holds true for nearly every sub culture/type of kid

however i must say lately it has suddenly become the wicked cool thing to do amongst the hardcore scene (and yes i know there has been interconnection there between hardcore and graff, but the explosion as of late is obviously because its trendy), and it sucks because suddenly you have a lot of kids who are absolute toys and also have some tough guy mentality bullshit. (once again tough guy mentality is found throughout society, but i find that those who are susceptible to stereotypes such as stupid tough guy bullshit, are consequently hopping on this new section of the bandwagon)

there is a recent trend hitting the straight edge/hardcore scene. i have been straight edge for 4 years, and i see tons of kids who claim edge to seem tought but are absolute tools. but there is also the tough guy mentality like you said in other sub cultures, i think every wigger i ahve seen thinks he is the toughest shit around, as well as alot of graffiti artists, who fall into the gang mentality. i dont act tough or claim i can beat everyones ass. i just retaliate with the same disrespect i am givin. anyways.. mass most of those 'recycled ideas' are for my portfolio..koi because im workin on koi fish at the moment and portrait inspired work so that i can improve at it and if your telling me im not 'allowed' to draw the joker because lumos and so many other people have then frankly you can go suck a dick . im not satanic at all n i dont think your in any position to talk about artistic skill you cant even draw a bunch of men with guns its just bollox ink outlines with no shading,no use of lighting and no skill so whatever im not gnna take advice on my art from some 16 year old faggot who thinks he knows evrything n anything about graff and art.

And this is whats wrong with the art community today, gallerys would rather take some wierd abstract shit thats over played, that anyone could do if its drawn by some dude with a wierd name, tight pants and a lot of peircings than real art which takes talent to make with a new original and powerful style. i dont have to worry about this right now because im in highschool and i dont have to make a living off of this yet, but i have friends who are trying to make a living off of this shit and they spent their entire lives and used all there god given talent to come up with an ill exhibition that almost everyone who sees says its changed them and gallery owners wont run it because some dude it tight pants with a nose ring put a line of red on a canvas. LIKE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME, it seems arts becoming more and more bullshit and its scary.

so do everyone a favour and if you know you cant draw pay more attention in auto class because all the real artists know whats up, and all the real art lovers can see through the bullshit and soon enough it will be gone and if you dont have talent there will be no room left for you to pretend your an artist

theres one rule that all new artist should live by, YOU CANT BREAK THE RULES UNLESS YOU CAN OBEY THE RULES, that means if you cant draw a face dont just go and draw some weird abstract faces cause it seems easier

And this is whats wrong with the art community today, gallerys would rather take some wierd abstract shit thats over played, that anyone could do if its drawn by some dude with a wierd name, tight pants and a lot of peircings than real art which takes talent to make with a new original and powerful style. i dont have to worry about this right now because im in highschool and i dont have to make a living off of this yet, but i have friends who are trying to make a living off of this shit and they spent their entire lives and used all there god given talent to come up with an ill exhibition that almost everyone who sees says its changed them and gallery owners wont run it because some dude it tight pants with a nose ring put a line of red on a canvas. LIKE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME, it seems arts becoming more and more bullshit and its scary.

so do everyone a favour and if you know you cant draw pay more attention in auto class because all the real artists know whats up, and all the real art lovers can see through the bullshit and soon enough it will be gone and if you dont have talent there will be no room left for you to pretend your an artist

you are right in some ways but wrong in others....1 being talent....there's people who have legitimate talent who do not need to draw a realistic portrait for their "abstract" stuff to be amazing or have no interest in representational art so they try other shit...

do you sketch those out and then scan them in and vector them? or what ever you do to them. I'm just wanting to see the raw sketch on paper if there even is one, i'm into that shit.

For that one I didn't use the scanner.. With photoshop I draw something b&w then I use some coloring techniques with the layers... If u want to I'll show you how it's done

But the easiest way is doing the drawing with a pen/ink, make sure the lining isnt too light otherwise you'll have problem scanning it... then you play with the brightness/contrast... after that you decide which color you're gonna take
