Sneaking Out at Night

obviously if you live with your parents, you have to sneak out at night to bomb or wutever, post ur tips,stories,how-to's etc. in here.

Haha I know its sad but my dad wakes up when I walk out because his room has no doors and mine right next to his so I have to bomb before curfew but I do what I have to do, saving up for a fire escape latter...Haha.

go alone iv been with a couple of people who couldnt keep there mouths shut cuz they thought they were soooo cool he told all his friends and then i wound up getting known for it and when it came to the cops seeing stuff in school me and my friends did i got busted for it went to jail etc. but yeah act casuall when walking down the streets take your stuff in a backpack and if questioned by cops (pending on where your at) just say you were walking to a friends or home or something. it works for me it might not if you look all small like a lil kid or something and thats stuff we get away with in texas and they say texas is one of the worst places to get busted for serious crimes. and they take graffiti serious in some of these smalle towns out here they go buffing stuff thats been around ten seconds its like they did it everyday.

Alright these are some tips I've picked up:

1. Make damn well sure you don't have window alarms.

2. If you have a floor fan in your room, leave it on so your parents don't hear outside noises such as crickets and wind.

3. Wear black. No matter how cool you want to seem to your crew, it is always a good idea to wear black.

4. Bring water and food. Chances are you're going to get thirsty and hungry, seeing as you'll be out for a few hours.

5. Stick to the trees, if there are any. If no trees are in view, use various urban objects for cover.

6. If it can be helped, do not go into residential homeowner's areas. You can get into hard shit for that.

Oh, and also another tip. I've been in some fucked up situations, where I've needed a blade. Thankfully, I had my shank with me and got away, but I'm serious, there's some fucked up shit. I came across a homeless guy cutting some sort of meat on the ground, and he had this huge blanket up across two trees, with blood all over it. There were a few bones lying about and he asked me something I couldn't understand. Not so bad, but then he walked towards me with the knife. Scary shit. So you might want to carry a knife, if you really feel unsafe.

i get up night and day. i perfer nice weather thou i went out a few times in the rain and snow wit paint and its sucked. In the rain i only did covered spots.

what i do, is walk out the back door. my parents are used to me being on the computer real late at night 'cause i've been surfing the net/talking to friends online/gaming whatever since like grade 7, so it's nothing for me to be awake at 3-4 am.. so anyways my computer is in my basement, so i walk into the kitchen, flush the toilet, and walk out the back door.. works every time.

oh and, i go out of my way to be sneaky like that, i've snuck out my basement windows before when it doesn't feel right. also, straight up walking out the front door works pretty well most of the time.

I would reccomend wearing black or at least dark clothing, but a cop stopped me the other day after curfew on my way to the bus stop and he said what got his attention was the fact that i was wearing all black. though its probably easier to hide and get away if you blend with the shadows and stuff

Try and sleep at a friends or get a friend to sleep at yours parents usualyl are more slack if you have mates over and let you go out later, And its someone to keep a lookout :)

I usually go out bombing super late at night, and i take my longboard (49" skate). It's great, cuz when i bomb i usually pick out a spot during the day that is on top of a hill then just ride down when i'm done. It's a good system. and here's a little info that you canadians might find useful. In canada it is against the criminal code of canada for a police officer to serch you without a court order. This means if you have paints on you or markers and your being interigated by the cops, they have to ask you to search you. They cannot lay their hands on you unless they are arresting you. So just be polite, and if they didn't see you do it, they cant do shit. I know this because a chum of mine was searched unlawfully and they found markers on him. He was braught in and when his court date came, he told the judge what happend and the charges were dropped and he got his markers back.

Hopefully that helps you out a bit. Oh and btw dont tag your skateboard.

they can search you under some surcomstances like if they have evidence... but they have a lil trick... they cant search your bag but they can search your body if they take u in their car (for weapons). so they like find a reason to drive you (if your under 18 they can just drive u home for any reason pretty much)

aight this shit went down back in february of 2003..... i was gonna battle some fool that said i had slashed him.....so it was gonna be like 7 of us plus me 8.....then when it came down to the day it was raining hella but i said fuck it imma go to the trax cuz i know theyll be there and i aint about to be called a lil bitch or a no show....so then when i met up with everyone they were all giving me excuses...." no fool dont go dawg since its raining so hard i bet they aint gonna show"...."i aint trying to get my shoes wet man"...."when its raining is the day the gaing units go out and take all the pix".....etc. So when we left it was four of us. and two were gonna meet up with us half way. plus at the spot some more heads were gonna meet up with me like 3 or four. So we dip to the trax raining like a mother fucker but we split cuz two of the homies wanted to get sum bud....so then 1 hour later we meet back up like a block away from the enterance to the trax. we get there and aint no one there....so we chilled and waited....then my homies roll up and they like weve been here all day and aint no one been here yet. So im like fuck man these fools are a no show. Theyre all like fuck it man just go home or sumthing. And im like fuck that shit i got ten cans imma drop me sum pieces......so they chill for a sec but then r like yo we got to bounce cuz were suppose to meet witht the homies GIRLS...and im like how old are they theyre like we dont know but we still going so they dip and then its four of us. I drop a piece but it comes out wack cuz it was so fucking cold that i couldnt even press the nib down. So we decided to chill under the over pass for a minute so we could at least dry off. The other two homies never make it...... So then it stops raining.... we go out to piece pasing our legal wall, and one fool starts chucking rocks at the train thats passing by. He misses the train and the rock hits a cars windshiled and cracks the fuck out of it. so we decide to run but there was already a man looking over the fence...that saw us.....then we go to drop some bombs along the trax... the same fool that was throwing rocks threw some at like a roof of a building.... then a fool came out screaming quite that shit or imma go over this wall and beat you down lil bastards.....so we just start laughing.....this fool throws like 8 rocks at once.....the man grabs a ladder and thentrys to climb the wall so we dipp....he was screaming sumthing that sounded like ive already called the cops but we didnt pay attention..... we grabbed a train and took it all the way to the enterance....we got to hit it to....we were thinking of taking it back to another exit that was like two city blocks away and just stay on the train....but it started excellerating so im like just get off!...so we jumped off and then it was almost time to go so we sit at the trax and decide to blaze....one fool had a bong and i was looking at it and im like yo theres still weed in here man.....so the other fool is like give me that lights it and hits it fucking hard!.... he starts coughing and everything then the other fool looks over and is like o shit COPS!!!! they were walking twords us.... they were yellow shirt strip metro.... so we start running through an exit that two buldings have in between then we start to walk normally in the street when all off the sudden....we here a car hit the brakes and skid we look over it the pigs.....so two fools dipp one way and me and sum other kid dipp back to the tracks. We had a cop chasing us... my sweater got caught in a bush and i did like a 360 and landed flat on my ass...got the wind knocked outta me....buty got up and ran....the homie got his whole arm shreded by the thorn bush and then his shoe fell off when we were running....so he stoped to put it on and the cop came up from behind and pushed that fool into sum liek 2 feet deep mud. Then i knew he wasnt going to be coming back so i kept running and that fucking cop started to run after me..... so we were running for a minute i couldnt feel my legs no more and i was about to throw the bag into sum mud when that fool grabsthe bag while i was swinging it and he pulls it back......i fell and then he escorted me back to the car.......there was the other three homie with tickets all written out and shit......they serched us.... and they took my hard to buff otr 0.7 my slaps.... all my caps...my cans.....pencils paper and my graff gloves....... then we got off with just tresspassing ......cuz the cops were "cool" with us....LOL....... we would off gotten tickets for.... Graffiti....Graffiti parafenelia.....Narcotics....Narcotics parafenelia......truencey......and possesion of a deadly weapon.......(one fool had a blade)......and tresspassing.
The next day i talked to the other two homies that were gonna come and then they were telling me that they were all having a strange feeling and that it wasnt raining when they were gonna go out but then they opened the doors and it just started puring on them...... after being grounded all i did was think of everyone that told me not to go.....i guess they were like clues from god not to go.....but ne ways court day came and they droped charges on us.

hey.. so u all got a curfew? Till what time is that? Here in Malta (EUrope) we don't have a curfew. But the problem is always how to get out of the house. Usually i go out when i go to an alternative rock club with my girl.. i take my bag with some 4 cans with socks on them - and some 5 caps just in case they clog. I also play in a band and we play like once every 2 weeks - so after we play, i go straight to bomb at 2am during weekdays (with almost no cars passing..).
Be careful of people in the parked cars.. once i tagged real fat on this house door and when i put my can back in the bag, i noticed that exactly near me there was a guy in this car lookin at me..i just started walking really fast, then i heard him start the car and i thought he was coming after me - well he didn't. neither did the cops.

I usually bomb before curfew. I go out, and then come back late. I don't go out late and come back even later. 12-1 is the best time for me to bomb. Wearing all black can make you look very suspicious at times, so just stick to dark colors. Even if it's dark red or green, it won't make a difference. As long as it's dark. As for the cans rattling and shit, packing some dirty clothes in there (with febreeze) works nicely. Always know where you're going to bomb, also. Just don't go out on a random mission. Worst thing ever. You will get caught. Always search for good spots while going to school, driving with your parents, etc. Plan escape routes, and just know the area well. If it's new territory, just walk around it a bit, and get to know it.

2) Wear a disposable latex glove to keep the paint off your fingers so thew cops have no proff "if" yo get pulled up.

4) The later you are out at night the more chance you'll get pulled over by the cops.

5) Leave the bombing sessions for one hour or so at a time.If you want to get further, take your bike, stash it then pick it up after ur done.

6) I used to wait an hour before my parents went to bed then jump the back fence leaving through the back door.

7) Sat at someones house where their parents are lenient or say ur going to ur mates house be back late and use that time to bomb.

Allright so if you cant just walk out of your house or out your window and you have to walk down the hall or somthing like that ( i.e ur under 17 or w/e ) then this is how you do it..... so after your mom/ dad gose to bed you wait to make sher there sleeping then you put on you close (dont wear socks) then you roll up your pant legs and you put your house coat on or if you dont have one then just like wear your blanket or w/e.... so now if your mom/dad wakes up they dont see you in your close ready to go they see you in your house coat ready to get a glass of water or somthing, then you walk slow take you time then when you get to ur front/back door you hide you house coat somwhere close by then you leave then when you come back you do the same thing on the way back to your room (its allways good to get a glass of water when you come back....... :ph34r:

bring the bare minimum in a book bag, cans tips disposable gloves. Bring a hoodie and then wrap up your cans in the hoodie and put it in your bag. Don&#39;t bring anything sketchy that could put you into more trouble than being caught. And if you live in a decent neighborhood take your bike. If you got a side door leave that open a little bit with your bike outside so its all ready to go. Dress normal if its close to you and just chill out. My rents go to bed at 9 and know I&#39;m up till 4 or 5 but they also know that i got outside alot to skate or whatever so me leaving is pretty easy. I usally go with my friends in a car and we bring our boards so we can just say we&#39;re going over to a friends to skate if we get caught.

I dont know about anybody else but its mad ez for me to sneak out of my house. Maybe its cuz my dads never home n my mother passes out by 9, but heres what i do. Remember to take spray or cologne and visene if you plan to drink n smoke. Take all of your clothes you plan to wear and bring them to the door(or window) you plan to leave out of, never put the clothes on first and then try and navegate your way through your place. Put your shoes on outside if youv got a bag hold it with your hands and dont put it on untill outside( guarantee will make noise) always bring a key lock the doors behind you so they wont see that its not locked n bait your scene. Then its all a matter of busting your secret agent styles to get clear. If there are obsicals in your way lift then set down never pull/push. When coming back stash your bag (if you have one) somewhere where you can remember where it is and nobody can see/find it, you can grab it the next day. If they wake up and see me not in my room sleepin i tell them i fell asleep in my basement watching tv, or if she happend to check the entire house for you, then i hope your johnny on the spot with bullshit. The lies vary with the time/situation and how pissed your parents are.

A while ago I was at a furniture store looking at couchs you know trying them out and so I lay down on one and I stuck my arm under the back cousin and realized it went down to a big compartment cause its like a fold down back seat tray and the two parts next to it are recliners so like the pillows don&#39;t come up and it&#39;s this huge compartment. Needless to say I bought it and lined it with charcoal just in case they have a dog or something sniffing for paint. That spot is absolutely perfect for storing shit :lol: . I used to have a pair of baggy pants with the two back pockets cut out and some stockings sewn on to the inside. this way you can stash two cans in each back pocket hidden in the bagginess of the jeans (it&#39;s also good for other things if ya know what i mean). Go solo. if you get pulled up say your heading to a 24 hour shop in the neighbourhood to get ciggarettes, food drink etc.
as for sneking out tell your parents straight up that your going painting. Thats what i did, they werent happy about it but there was nothing they could do. It depends on your parents but if they realise that graff is your passion and theres nothing that is going to stop you from doing it than they will submit.

i have been stopped 3 or 4 times with paint on me by the cops late at night and every time i have just said i was at a freinds place painting in his garage and i&#39;m just on my way home. If your lucky this will work but I guess i have been really lucky. Act calm, if they ask for name and address i usually give a fake one because i have had prior convictions for graff and make sure you give them an address nearby in the direction your heading. As i said this wil only work if your really lucky but most cops will probably fuck you over. I live in australia too which might mean the cops are a bit more relaxed.

As for getting caught with paint, i&#39;d be completely fucked for 2 reasons:

1. Not much of a graffiti scene here, so figuring out who did the freshly painted stuff down the street wouldn&#39;t be difficult

2. Cops here are vicious, they&#39;re always cracking down on the (little amount of) crime they have here even if it means planting drugs, threatening for information, searching without a warrant or other corrupt shit. It happens a lot in other places but the less crime here allows it more.
