have you influenced any of your friends to do graffiti?

one day in art class i was doing some stuff in my note book and a friend asked "what are you doing?" so i said i was practicing. ever since then he comes up to me and shows me the stuff he did and we tag up the town.

Yes. I haven't really told them to do it. They just somehow find out that I'm involved in it, and then they'll be interested. I've interested like I dunno how many people, and they all start for a week or so and then fall off except for a few.

yes... most did some toy stuff and stopped... one got pretty wicked ad dono if she still sketches... my friend got her boyfriend and the 2 kids she used to babysit to start writing... they are all in my crew now haha... its kinda funny lol!

ive influenced acouple to start writing and getting up i can tell some are serious and some are just gonna be in it for a week cause they saw me bomb and they thought it was "WOW WICKED COOl!"

actually, my story is kind of backwards. one of my friends who wasn't even serious about it got me into it. he never got up or anything, he just tagged cheesy shit in his notebook. wasn't even good. in 10th grade he showed me how to do "tags" in some generic style. that was many moons ago, and years later i've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of life because of his casual graff doodles.

i started this kid out who was an amazing artist, his pics are up in the sketches section on this site. the name he was writin was presto. his graff was pretty weak back then, but the kid can draw man. he got alot better fairly quickly and has even influenced my style somewhat.

i was influenced by philly handstyles and nyc bombing.

i posted about him another thread in the tools and tips section
but
he writes BLAZE
in all red no other colors just red
theres no style
it generally looks like a drunk donkey taped a can of paint to its head and tried to do it
but hes hit several high traffic areas
if i go out around my burrow of town i see it all over the place
and another friend of mine he wants to do it
he just has no motivation and is generally a lazy ass mofo
and i mean that in the nicest way possible
i also helped some other friends of mine out
by introducing them into better markers and tips for cans
they were sitting around using magnums and stock caps
i introduced them to meanstreaks, postermans, usps stickers, fat and skinny caps

yeah i influenced like my entire class to get into it, id practice tags in class and theyd see and then id see them doodleing tags on their page but now i regret it cuz im the only one thats in it to get better, the rest are in it to cross ppl out and start beef and be absolute toys to the point where it aint even funny
