its like Pie times Diameter aint it or something. So you would do 3.15 times 4 then half it. So you would have the curved edge that is half of the whole circle. Then you would add the 4 cm's for the straight edge.

well frist u need ot work out the circumfrence using pi, which is 3.14.
so you use the formul 2xpixR(which is 4cm). which gives u 24.48.

then u divide that by 2, as its a semi circle, giving you 12.24 then add 4cm for the straight side, ur answer is 16.24cm

actuali sika u got it wrong, the straight side is actuali the diamter, so the radius would be half of that, so its 2 cm's. So it would be 2 times 3.14 then you would times that by 2 as the radius is half the diameter. Then you would half that and add the 4 for the straight edge.
