yer i got really lost when trying to use the cross fader cos i have a beat playing on one turntable and then the sample to scratch on the other, but when i like flick the cross fader on or wateva so the sample plays, the other turntable with the beat dont play. So its like you have to get it in the middle somehow. Is there anyway to get over this :S its prob the easiest thing to solve but still any help appreciated

erm.. put the crossfader in the middle so you have the beat and the vinyl ur scratchin both coming out and then when you move the crossfader move it so that you can only hear the beat and then move it back to the center so that both are playing. hard to explain on this. you can also do it by using the up and down fades. if you dont understand cause it's not the best explanation i'll try to explain again lol
