I suppose a large majority of the posters here are fairly young. It seems that way from this thread, anyways.

What I have learnt, anyways, is that pot is basically nothing- just something to help you relax, laugh a little. It doesn't really have strong enough effects to prevent you or inhibit you besides reflexes and motivation perhaps. Pot doesn't effect my ability to draw or anything whatsoever. Just enjoy it, there is nothing to worry about when you're stoned, if you just relax and enjoy it. I don't know what things are like in the USA, but things are so lax in Canada we smoke joints on the street like ciggerettes.

Harder drugs should be approached only when you feel comfortable with them and have read up on them. Having a calm, mature state of mind will provide many great trips. That said, acid and mushrooms have done wonders for my creativity sometimes. I'll try take a picture of the mural I fingerpainted on my wall on acid.

Pot, mushrooms, acid are relatively safe things to experiment with. They aren't physically addictive and you won't overdose. Cocaine and heroin are a bit dicer and certainly addictive, but as long as you know what you are doing and have confidence in your judgement, experiment. I've always been a curious person, which is what led to me experimenting with various drugs.

Also, don't do DXM. Even if you are bored and can't get anything else. It fucks you up hard, and is really hard on your body too. I know this is definitely something younger people are inclined to try (I did). It's really bad.

Going drunk makes you fearless, which in my opinion is bad, you need a little paranoia to keep the balance. I've wanted to go rolling(ecstasy), the painting experience itself would be tight as hell, but if something happened where you had to run and you ended up getting dehydrated.. not worth it.

You'd be surprised. It's hard to find some places. There's tons of generic hydrocodone, not just that one you mentioned. It comes in 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg and 10mg, with varying amounts of Acetaminophen (generic tylenol). Avoid the 10mg hydrocodone/1000mg acetaminophen ones like the plague, they'll ruin your kidneys/liver in any dose higher than 1 pill.

Doctor shopping is possible but hard to do if you're a kid. I had a legit back problem and it took me forever to get the meds I needed at the time. My best advice would be if you want it bad enough, ask around. Someone has to have a connect. And if you're in highschool, people have that shit all over the place from kids getting their wisdom teeth out. Enjoy that hook while you can.

But be careful with any opiates, they're seriously addictive and the high is too good to walk away from... trust me, I just got out of rehab, and had been using almost daily for nearly 7 years. Not vicodin, mind you, harder opiates... but still, I started with vicodin, and ended up there.

i'm way to tired to read this entie thread but I thought this was really funny. try explaining yourself this way to a cop... or the judge. ha ha. im never going to smoke anything ever again. i dont think the yellow fingers will be able to press down enough to use the spray paint and the with my eyes all watery i wont be able to see and i'll be coughing and gagging, too much noise. i dont agree with it, i dont agree with drugs. and really you cant take credit for stuff you do when your high cuz its just like drawing stuff while high, its not you, its a chemical inside of you.

I used to do a lot of drugs in the party scene and now I get amped from nothing or really fucked up with just booze and weed. sometimes people think I'm high but I'm not at all... depending on your level of concentration and skill and a million other things, drugs can be good for painting or bad. you don't have to do drugs to paint but you might want to before you spy my wack shit, ha ha.

I went bombing last night, but only had 6 dollars after I got the paint so I just got some cough-syrup (the shit with DXM) instead of weed. I have to say: I have smoked joints while on my way to bomb, I have drank booze, I have popped e, but there is something about downing a bottle of cough syrup while smoking a cig that gets me more pumped to bomb than anything.
It's definitely a nice change from pot - every once in a while, though.

i smoke alot. smoking high helps me. being high doesn't really effect me much, but i seem to be more aware of my surroundings. being drunk is what gets me, because i get rowdy and will do anything. plus im sloppy and dont pay attention for 5 oh.

Yeah bombing high is alright. Its better if your really high although your graffiti gets abit whack because you might green out half way threw a tag or some thing

Being drunk impairs your judgment, and while i LOVE drinking and everything that comes with it. It does not belong on the streets while your bombing, if your fucking smashed and you go and hit a wall or something, your probably focusing all of your fading attention span to the art and you might not notice that car creeping up behind you.
