I have been looking for some good graff books for a while now and I don't really know of any good ones.
As of right now I have "The Art of Getting Up", but I am looking for some more modern and European graff books.
im gunna let this ride. if u guys have any recomendations of books stick em in here.
but, where u at in the world? we have a bunch of shit here u can buy online through bombing science in the online shop.
if u cant get em online (which i would recommend u get them here because they have everything u could hope for.) look for some head shops that sell graff shit, or here we have a book store called "barnes and noble" they got some shit. i guess just keep your eyes open.

i got freight train graffiti a few days ago
its awsome
Graffiti World- good book, alot of diverse styles combined in one, and goes around the globe
Graffiti Woman- not big on this book- alot of toy shit, theres like 5 good writers in this book, and the other half is street art
Ma'claim:Finest Photorealistic Graffiti- honestly the sickest fuckin book i have ever touched, goes through alot of tutorials on painting as well as amazing photos (high quality)
Montana Writer Team- decent book- they blur all the writers who aren't on the montana team out though, fucks up the production
Stylefile:Best of Issues 1-5- this book was cool, but mostly euro shit, and i'm not too huge on euro
Stylefile: Blackbook Session 2
Stylefile: Blackbook Session 3
^^^^very good if book, no text, just blackbook pieces, contains artists like Daim, Seak, Enorm, Wow 123, Sewer, Atom, Mode, ect....
thats all the books i can think of for now, if you need flicks of some of the shit in these books, pm me and i'll be glad to help

Ma'claim: Finest Photorealistic Graffiti (one of the most visually stunning book. you'd really wonder how they pull off some of their dope works. plus at the end part of the book, they show the processes they take to come up with very realistic art works on the wall)
Daim: Daring to Push the Boundaries (im a big daim fan and if you like 3d like i do, u should pick this up)
Graffiti World (a must have, its a huge book and it has compilations of different artist from around the world. its a good way to find your style and what type of graff you wanna steer towards)
The Art of Rebellion 1 &2 (cool book. shows different styles plus on the 1st art of rebellion, the artists filled out questionaires and talks about some generals about them. its a fun read)
Subway Art (nice way to get in touch with some old school graff. plus it touches on the history of graff so its good to know your history)
***The Calligrapher's Bible (this isn't a graff book but if you wanna learn about letter structures, styles, and just dope classic letter schemes, this a good book to own. from celtics to gothic to modern, they got it covered. its good to know about letters when doin graff cuz its the backbone of this art form.)

I just got "The Art of Getting Up." I'ts got a lot of Philly writers in it and a lot of NYC too. Some West Coast but not a alot. Focuses a lot on handstyle and tells the stories of a lot of writers including SANESMITH, KADISM, and REVS. A very entertaining read filed with great pictures.

freight train graffiti is good for pictures and shit. the only book i would recommend from the 70s is getting up by craig castleman, its more words than pictures and is a great history of subway graffiti in nyc, the important pictures are in there though.
book of tags is okay
art of getting up is cool
street sketch book is dope if you like street art
Art Of Getting Over is the only graffiti book worth getting besides All City.
it speaks truth, insiders(written by Espo, he got arrested the day after it was released for putting his real name on the front, yes it was intentional, hes not that stupid) view, no hype or bullshit, tells it how it is, doesnt say it started in New York or even stray from anything but graf.
the stories in it range from hilarious (JA dressing up as a DEA officer and robbing one of ESPO's friends) to disturbingly tragic.(REVS writing his life story on the subway tunnels)
oh and of course, Subway Art...the most stolen book of all time. any beginner HAS to read that book. kicks the toy right out yer skull.

i would say the art of getting over is probably the best book available. all city is another good one but is too all over the place for me...
subway art is like a graffiti for dummies...
i found this odd, but actual most stolen book form barnes and noble, is the christian bible, what the fuck is up with that?

oh..in that case...graffiti world..
came out in 2004..i checked it out from my local library
its got really good modern and futuristic graff art in it and its really thick too...i believe it has north america, european, and asian styles in it so its a good read
as for reg books..you all should pick up kurt vonnegut anyway :)
