yall need to stack your chips and order some montana/belton/ironlak etc.
its color schemes like this that really show your using painters touch. dont get me wrong, you can pull off some hot shit with p.t., but its shit to work with in cold weather and it will fade after one summer(most colors).
not to mention the fact its a million times nicer to work with paint ment for graffiti.

i dont know where you are buying your paint from but......

painters touch is about $6 a can
montana is about the same
and ironlak is $5.50 from visual orgasm with a 12 or 24 can order..

if im not mistaken, painters touch is made by rusto, you should use a rusto fat cap on em, works a lot better and doesnt blow up as much.

if your gonna drop 40 beans on p.t. everytime you go and paint a decent sized burner (meaning more than 3 colors and longer than 6 feet) you might as well order 24 cans on ironlak for a buck fifty and have good paint, that doesnt fade, is much thicker and in general just a shit load better to paint with for the same price..
i dont know, maybe thats just me.
either way, keep on keepin on

beat me to it. not to sound like a dick. but most younger writers automatically assume older writers are acting superior when saying shit like this. i think you cats should open your ears though. Baxtyr's going about the whole situation real cool-like. Most cities would rip you guys apart and make you never want to paint again. i understand that the culture is still fairly young in Kamloops, and the kids that try to become part of that culture are so uneducated it hurts. But you guys gotta spend more time learning about these things before you go out and do them. Graffiti is a game built entirely on reputation. I hate to say it but you're off to a really really bad start. There are certain things that you need to research. Even if other older writers say the internet's a curse on graffiti, that shit's not entirely true. Obviously the internet has it's stigma, but use that shit. Do your homework. Pick another name. Fill up a black book or two. And until you're ready, keep your painting to the back alleys and places that won't be seen.

When I went to Whistler my friend was spraying a bottom of cage with one I yelled "STOP!" He got up and asked why. I told him those were vintage cans and he had no idea. He bought them at a garage sale from an old man that had a mechanic shop down the road. I offered him 5 bucks a can and he was happy because he only got them for a dollar. He had another 10 but they were all in really bad condition. Rusted, the fragile paper wrap that displayed the original contents were all ripped apart and faded as well as water damaged.
So I picked out the best ones. I've been looking all over for vintage cans and I just happened to luck out on these. I'm still looking for that elusive Krylon Jungle Green if anyone has one for sale hook me up!

A well-known anti-graffiti activist was under police investigation for theft when he took his own life Friday, RCMP Insp. Yves Lacasse confirmed Wednesday.

Gordon Giles was co-ordinator of the City's graffiti task force and a former Kamloops RCMP auxiliary constable. In 2009, he won a Solicitor General Award for his exemplary volunteer work with the auxiliary program.

However, Lacasse told a media briefing that in March information an internal financial review indicated that Giles had inappropriately used public funds while he was administrative officer of the Kamloops RCMP auxiliary program. Thursday, Giles was arrested for theft over $5,000 and interviewed at the detachment.

“During the interview, Mr. Giles admitted to the investigators his wrongdoing, accepted sole responsibility and recognized the effect this would have on his reputation in the community. He expressed a strong sense of remorse and apologized for his actions.”

The next day he took his life at his residence.

Lacasse said news of Giles' passing shocked and saddened all employees and volunteers of the Kamloops RCMP detachment.

“We will always be grateful for the contribution Mr. Giles made to public safety.”

The end of an era.

the wall needed a new facelift. and as for being busted its fine the walls still the same its still a permision wall.

it hasnt been legal for 3 years, supposed to ask the owner and the police i guess every year, the owner was supposivly pissed that people were still painting without his permission because its a leased out building, its only a permission wall because of the owners not the writers, they could have easily said no, shouts to all the older heads who previously permitted and discovered that wall, nobody should be crying over a bucket of white buff..specially on a wall that was claimed a "permission" wall, go paint somthing illegal for a change, i wasnt involved with the buffing ordeal but im sure thats what graffiti is.

the reason I asked is just sometimes if you get caught at a "legal" spot they'll have you buff the entire spot unless they can get you on something else. stay up kamloops!

Mynus, I don't know exactly which building you are talking about but I personally had meetings with the owner of one of them roughly 10 years ago, long before most of new kids started painting and got permission for the wall. Almost ever year since the police and Rocky Mountain railway have pressured him to paint over it and he continually says no. No one is crying about white paint.
Thanks for letting us know "what graffiti is" with all your years of wisdom though.

im talking about inland, I talked to the owner and he said come back every year cause its leased and there may be a new owner every year, and i could imagine you had meetings in the past...long before i hit puberty, there is writers bitching about the white buff, just because its not on the internet it doesnt meen its not happening, but i thought i would just write a message, hahaha and i wasnt saying i was wise with wisdom either.
