the cream is pure phosphoric etch, and very safe to the human skin in comparason to the 70 - 30 mix of HYDROFLURIC (the dangerous stuff) and phosphoric in liquid form..

i've had the same problem. best thing to do i just borrow a hand sander from a homie and try and sand it out. then do rack some wood varnish to go over it with. then try and be more safer while handling inks. lol.

No man, it is equilly as strong, (well to be honest slightly stronger) but its on the surface longer, so it would be etching for longer.. mix the two to a slightly thick paint, and its combined nicely.

WHen the water evaps you can just scoop out the powder. whether you wanna just pour the alc in there afterwards is totally up to you

I've been reading thread for a while now.
heres some things ive found out from mixing myself.
White spirit dusent mix with pen inks
nail varnish remover is a semi decent base (I'm guessing this is the acetone?)
crushed up graffite works if you cant get charcoal
adding a nib from a highlighter gives a nice shine.
a a tablespoon of wallpaper paste powder thickens up nicely just dont add to much
you can also use petrol as a base

Nope, white spirit doesnt mix with pen inks or any other alcohol based ink.
Nail varnish remover is a semi decent base, better for adding to ink when trying to get the consistency right. Nvr based pen ink feels 'colder' when it gets spilled on yer hands, maybe it evaporates faster?? (anyone?) lol.
I wouldnt have thought the graphite from pencils would be soluble in alcohol but i've never tried it.....
The highlighter thing I've tried aswell lol, n it does actually work for small amounts.
I've never tried puttin wallpaper paste in ink before so i dunno bout that :P
And lastly, never tried petrol as a base but is it not closer to white spirit than ethanol type alcohols? Could be wrong though.

Also, haha this isn't a question but now I'm kind of interested in using harder staining stuff, because I just used the paint already in the woodcraft for about 40 tags, and like the 4 they tried to buff just smeared a little, you can still read it, so I'm thinking if they can't even buff woodcraft paint how hard would it be for them to get rid of something that stains

ok, Olicks mixes are just rusto paint, his secrets lie within what he uses to thin them. But all of his colors are just mixed with different colored rusto's.

Tempra paint is worse than acrylic. It is water with a drop of acrylic paint in it.

Acrylic paint works fine to thin down. There's a medium you can rack at michaels that is used specefically for thinning acrylic instead of water cause it keeps the color opaque or something, I don't really know I haven't tried it out yet...

mixing paint is a very complicated procedure! i mean cmon. it aint easy! you gotta get these measuring cups. takes notes on what you do. keep record so u remember how to get the same color. last time my meth lab nearly exploded!

The paint they use to make line is EPOXY paint... You can ask at paint specialty shop

Usually, boiling inks when you are still making them, mixes them in a level beyond standard level,

yes speeds up evapouration, but with many dyes, can burn/darken them.. and isn't too good.

but most times its for thickening, and for some ingredients can midly gonjeal them and increase some attributes..

In my school i've only ever seen iodine solution, doubt theres enough in it to warrant evaping tbh.

I dunno if iodine does anything chemically to ink but it's good as an additive for colour.

I have Iodine crystals in my room right now and they have been okay for months. The explosive thing is called " exploding paste" and happens when you mix ammonia and iodine crystals and you are left with a paste. When the paste is dry it is very sensitive to vibration and explodes on contact usually with just a very loud bang and some purple smoke.

I tried adding about 6 small ball crystals to a batch of red ink and it makes it very brown orange ( but the ink mix was shit anyway , dud red ink pens)
Just leaving a crystal on a pit of paper for 1 minute makes a brown stain come off it. If you guys want be to experiment , I have everything to knock something up, just givve me ideas !

I can guarantee you forever in control is GK I have a bottle from when I first started and was stupid. It separates just like my homemade.

The molotows aren't that bad, But i'd rather rack a woodcraft or martha stewart.

Forever in Control = GK + dot3 and Im pretty sure it's just regular thinner. It's reallly opaque thoough, i'll give it that. I'd rather spend money on ink and make my own paint. I made some green ghetto krink that I'm pretty happy with this weekend.

Nah, I'm not hating on it man, I order so much of my shit, cause I may be a teenager but I have a life besides writing, and a job.
