cali's bud is starting to make more of a name for itself. more and more people around here are getting theirs from out there cause it's professionally grown and they know if it's the legit strain or just some nameless one. my friend just got a couple qp's of trainwreck, sour d, and this other crazy strain i can't remember the name of. once i'm done with school i plan on moving out west. probably to santa cruz, but i will be making frequent visits to friends in humboldt :)

Smoking herbs no matter who you smoke with wont effect you or your relationships if anything they may bond you closer together. What may effect a relationship is YOUR actions that is all, Blaming the drugs is a cop out of responsibility. Everyone makes a there own decisions clouded mind or not. I'm only talking about herb here no other drugs,(seen what coke, meth and heroin has done to families its fucked) I know quite a few people who toke up with there parents myself included. When you use paper that has a plastic coating on it, the plastic melts thus releasing some bullshit chemical into your lungs.

One part of my frustration as your mom is how much i love you; and it's because i love you that i am not willing to stand by on the sidelines and watch you throw away your life and your future. I have tried and tried to teach you responsibility and respect for yourself, but your actions and out right refusal to stop using marijuana has made me realize that all my efforts have been futile. As well, any of your solutions to this situation have created more problems to grow and get out of hand.

My biggest mistake was keeping you from honestly facing your problems, and you use of drugs (just marijuana, i dont do anything else) has allowed the problems to grow and get out of hand when you weren't looking. See, that's the problem with problems, they have a way of growing when you ignore them.

Maybe at the beginning you did use drugs (just marijuana) to be sociable with friends or to relax on the weekends, but think about how you react today when someone tells you something you dont want to her about your substance abuse. (which does not exist IMO) Why do you react that way? Are your defences preventing you from seeing whats realling happening in your life? How many times have you hear me ask:
"Are you stoned again?"
"Did you attend all your classes?"
"Did you smoke during or after school today?"

As your mom, i can see the negative impact marijuana is having on your life in the following ways:

You go to school, but not for the right reasons (Completely disagree, i understand the importance and attend because i dont want to live a life on minimum wage)

Your relationship with your family has become so awkward and diffucult, that in order to spend time with us you need to be high (again, i disagree i believe her alienation of me for smoking is what has caused the problems and awkwardness, and i find when im high im often more empathetic towards my familys' needs and i want to spend time with them, i do not DEPEND on marijuana to talk to my parents)

Your cell phone text messages are all about buying/sharing/using drugs. Almost all your contacts/friends are users and/or dealers. To make friends you need to be yourself, to make drugs friends... all you need is money (ive been in with those people in the past, had a couple epiphanies and seperated myself from them, i know the true meaning of friendship now and make my relationships accordingly so im not sure why this was brought up, as ive dealt with the problem)

Drugs users are the best liars and manipulators ever created. You are not invovled or interested in any activites instead you spend all your time hidden away and alone (dont spend much time with parents becaue of the alienation i believe i have been put through, and nobody in my town does much... 20 000 people and the only recreation we have is bowling and the movie theatre, 60% of population is over 65)

You use of marijuana has become regular and predictable, and more freqeunt (Once again, i disagree as i have learned much about blazing in my 3 years and have learned the meaning of responsible toking, i often take multiple day breaks as i realize it is harder for me to follow through with my responsibities when im high ALL the time)

Dependence is when you continue to use knowing the negative effect the drug has in your life. You may not realize this, but your body has become so accustomed to it that it can only function when the drug is present. Do you think it could be your use of drugs that is casuing you to be concerned about the symptoms you have been experiencing? Most, if not all of your symptoms (sleep, skin problems, fatigue) are known to be associated with drugs abuse? (yeah, and they are also assosicated with poor diet, lack of exercise and stress, things that i am guilty of)

And i know you are concerned about your health and i know that you worry about it because if you weren't concerned then you wouldn't be putting so much effort into looking for the answers to help explain away your symptoms.

Brandon, I see that you become more and more dependant on marijuana every day, and it has become central to your thoughts, emotions, and activities (bullshit!!!!) and almost every discussion or argument leads back to the same common denominator, marijuana.

Life is about change and things only stay the same way for a while, and then they change. you may not know for sure the changes you may want in your life, but maybe change means that you need to give up something you enjoy or something that has brought you releif from stress, fear and worry. (Where is the logic in this?) Drugs of any kind are only temporary solutions to your problems, even if you cant see the problems.

You need to think about the changes you want and why you want them, and then that will help you take the first step in a new direction. See...people are either growing and moving forward, or going in the opposite direction. Which direction will you go?

The process for dealing with your addiction and recovery (wait, im an addict??? and i didnt even know??) if thats what you choose has begun. A meeting has been scheduled with J at the ****** Addiction Center for next tuesday. you are welcome to attend, or you can contact her by yourself, either way, there needs to be change and change doesnt happen when you stop abusing, change begins when you start making your own decisions in life, substance abuse being one of them.

If you choose to continue the way you are going, then you cant live here anymore. Arrangements can be mnade for you to get your personal belongings. Arrangements can be made with contact lists, doctors etc. As well you will not be alowed to enter the house for any reason. If you do then i will have the police remove you from the property and the locks changed if necessary.

I have told you many times that if you continue using drugs and the risky behaviour that goes long with it you will no longer be allowed in my house, my home. Brandon this is not a threat, its a promise. I'm tired of you walking all over me and manipulating everyone in your way (dont even know....) I truly love you but i am not going to love you to death

Quit marijuana, although i dont want to do, and do not in any way feel i should have to
tell her i quit and make sure i hide it better then ever before, Not really an option, her finding out is pretty much inevitable
Take the offer, and get the hell out, maybe its time i started a new life? but i would miss my home and family'

Also keep in mind, i attend all my classes, bring home assignments that i receive 80%+ on, have a job, and help out around the house with numerous chores.

You may not realize this, but your body has become so accustomed to it that it can only function when the drug is present. Do you think it could be your use of drugs that is casuing you to be concerned about the symptoms you have been experiencing? Most, if not all of your symptoms (sleep, skin problems, fatigue) are known to be associated with drugs abuse? (yeah, and they are also assosicated with poor diet, lack of exercise and stress, things that i am guilty of)

And i know you are concerned about your health and i know that you worry about it because if you weren't concerned then you wouldn't be putting so much effort into looking for the answers to help explain away your symptoms.

Brandon, I see that you become more and more dependant on marijuana every day, and it has become central to your thoughts, emotions, and activities (bullshit!!!!) and almost every discussion or argument leads back to the same common denominator, marijuana.

Life is about change and things only stay the same way for a while, and then they change. you may not know for sure the changes you may want in your life, but maybe change means that you need to give up something you enjoy or something that has brought you releif from stress, fear and worry. (Where is the logic in this?) Drugs of any kind are only temporary solutions to your problems, even if you cant see the problems.

You need to think about the changes you want and why you want them, and then that will help you take the first step in a new direction. See...people are either growing and moving forward, or going in the opposite direction. Which direction will you go?

The process for dealing with your addiction and recovery (wait, im an addict??? and i didnt even know??) if thats what you choose has begun. A meeting has been scheduled with J at the ****** Addiction Center for next tuesday. you are welcome to attend, or you can contact her by yourself, either way, there needs to be change and change doesnt happen when you stop abusing, change begins when you start making your own decisions in life, substance abuse being one of them.

If you choose to continue the way you are going, then you cant live here anymore. Arrangements can be mnade for you to get your personal belongings. Arrangements can be made with contact lists, doctors etc. As well you will not be alowed to enter the house for any reason. If you do then i will have the police remove you from the property and the locks changed if necessary.

I have told you many times that if you continue using drugs and the risky behaviour that goes long with it you will no longer be allowed in my house, my home. i was in and out of my parents house a bunch of times before i even turned 18. it was defnintely because of weed. they knew i smoked, but they knew they couldnt stop me. so they tried to do everything possible to make me miserable at home. they went through my room, stole every piece i had. that was the first time i moved out.

i came back to live with my mom when i used to sell weed. she didn't mind much at that point. she just made it clear to stay away from the house with it. and i did. i never brought weed into the house, and i never smoked in the house. we got along fine for a while. she was even borrowing money from me on a regular basis.

then i moved out, and moved back in again, and moved my room into the basement. where i thought i would be able to get away with getting high all the time. and i did. but eventually she caught on and told me that if i couldn't respect their rules, then i couldn't live there. so i moved out again. terrible decision. me and my parents are still close. they let me stay over from time to time, and my mom has lightened up a lot about me smoking. she even lets me smoke in the garage now when i stay over.

the whole thing is just about being responsible when you smoke. get as high as you want, but you still gotta get up, go to work or school, and handle your business. it's about priorities. and being young, most kids don't have any. but once you turn 18, 19, 20, you get forced to grow up pretty quick. you just have to find a good balance.

honestly, i've never been in trouble with the law for anything weed related.
only one of my close friends has, but he is a retard.

i don't really find it hard to get away with smoking. i've been pulled over numerous times with weed, and sometimes other drugs on me, and never been searched, ever.

and i don't really have "blunt smoking acquaintances" anymore. i'm out of school, so i really only chill with close friends that i've known for years. we talk about whatever. weed and drugs are a big part of our lives, but it's not the only thing going on.

weed doesn't necessarily make friends, but it introduces you to people that could potentially be friends, or whatever.

it all depends on how you embrace it. plenty of people still manage to be responsible and get high every day. i will admit that i'm not really one of those people. i have maintained a part time job for over a year, but that's about as far as my responsibilites go. lol.
