actually, you change it to 12/12, so its less light, 12 hours light 12 hours dark, makes it flower :D thats when the smell kicks in about your 4th week into flowering, lol, what you smell now is just like smelling grass lol

Not quite. The problem is that your plants will be competing for root space and nutrients. Its not essential that you transplant them, but it is a good idea. Also, keep in mind the bigger the pots, the bigger the plants will get.

As far as nutrients goes, you can pick up normal ferts in home depot, and they even carry them in some grocery stores around here, just make sure your picking up the right kind. If you've got the extra cash just goto your local hydroponic store. Just a heads up for any locals, Homegrown hyrdoponics has free samples of DNF.

You should deffintly drop your lights lower to your plants. And I'm curious about this heatlamp you said your using. Alot of lamps can't be used for growing, because they don't give off the right spectrum of light. Unless your grow area is cold, I really don't think there's a need for a heat lamp. I hope it doesn't have a very high wattage, I wouldn't want one of those running on a 24/0, or even a 12/12 light cycle in my house. House fires are no joke. I personally don't use a 24/0 cycle on my clones and seedlings, I use 18/6 but if you using 24/0 isn't a bad thing. Its been debated that having a short dark period for your seedlings, and keep it nice and humid you're supposed to get a better male to female ratio. I've never heard of anyone using sugar water, whats your source and what is it supposed to do for the plant?

Even my vaporizer is making me cough up a lung. I'm too sick to smoke, so I should do some baking.

2.) very very very irritable... (...i hurt some feelings today)
3.) small headache (by the 5th day, its the worst, been there)

I thought you said you know everything there is to know about weed? Well gravity bong you take like a 2 liter and cut the bottom off so there's no bottom and then poke a hole in the cap for your bowl, then fill up like a sink with water and then put weed in the bowl, light it and have the water compress the air which sucks in the smoke and the bottle fills with smoke as you pull it up.

So basically its a gravity-suction pull which is like 1000x stronger than your lungs. Then you take off the cap and suck it in.

With what you just typed, I find it hard to believe that your not addicted to marijuana. Now, I'm not from the south, but in my opinion just because everyone else smokes heavily, that doesn't mean you and everyone else aren't addicted. I thought for the longest time that I wasn't addicted, and maybe then I wasn't but now I can see it. It's not that I can't stop smoking, because I'm sure I could. My problem is that there's always weed around me. Weather its my personal stash, my plants, or the people who pick up off me and smoke me. If I stopped selling, I have absolutly no doubts that I could stay sober, but untill that happens, I'll be tempted. Smoking has become to habitual, and even though I'm down to a few grams a week, I still feel that its too much.

Another reason I've cut down smoking is because I've noticed a few personal changes. On top of that, I've seen full-blown marijuana addiction, and I've also seen what happens when you suddenly decide to go cold turkey after smoking heavily for 30 years, and its bad times. Not something I want to go through, or watch family go through.

Does anyone have any strain recomendations for a real heavy couch-lock? Currently I'm stuck growing fairly indicia dominant strains, which does nothing for insomnia.

Using a SCROG isn't a waste of time, but it may not fit your setup. But there are other options, so I would suggest you check out this link (http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/t507), and read the first three links. That should be all the help you need.

The one thing I hate about this is that it is an open discussion forum, which means anyone with an opinion can come on here and post something. With that said, you can't believe everything you read in this thread. Now, I'm knocking anyone for posting wrong info, but if your skepticial about something your going to post, look it up first. There are plenty of resources online to help you gain knowledge about growing, and marijuana in general, so use them. With that being said, Esaem I'm curious as to how your boys managed to mess up a scrog. I mean, its not rocket science. Think of the chicken wire as a net, now instead of having your plants grow tall and lanky, the point of this net is to get your plants to grow into it, causing all of your buds to get equal ammounts of lighting. This setup is ideal for growing with restricted space because your maximizing the amount of bud you will get for the space your growing in. I think you need to drop the front, untill you gain some first-hand experience, and that's my two cents.

Salvo, I understand what your saying about not caring what your smoking, but I don't agree. And just because some people are more into marijuana than others, doesn't make them potheads. In my opinion, I'd say people with the attitude that you share about not caring what your smoking, as long as your getting high makes you more of a pothead then someone who knows what their talking about. But in the bigger picture, its all irrelavant. If you don't care for what your smoking thats fine, because all your looking for is the high. Others may be more interested in the tastes, and qualities of certain strains. As far as the peice in AA's signature, again does it really matter? If its affecting you that much, you can set up your account to not view anyone's signature. Maniak, there are no set rules for your signature. No where does it say you can't post a flick of someone else's work, and I for one don't see anything wrong with it as long as that person isn't fronting like its their own, which he's not.

screen of green method is very usefull when keeping your plants low and increasing yield but, you may want to research low stress training a method where plants are tied down effectivly making them grow out and having the colas spread out so as not to atract mold (this is during flowing you have to worry about mold) and to have the buds/colas (whatever u want to call them) getting equal sunlight (or if your indoor light from your high pressure sodium bulb or flouro lamps.

*if you ever get moldy flowers DO NOT SMOKE they can give you chest infections and the like (research more on mold and prevention)

If your a beginner i would recommend the grow bible at hempcultivation.com read that shit a hundred times before you ask questions and if you still have problems chances are they have been discussed in a post already.

chill out u crazy crazy ppl :D i bet even the greatest of beef can be settled and forgotten after a few cones together, growing under your bed is a bad idea if your gonna grow any kind of plant at all youll need decent lighting and most are hot unless your doing flouros (which would defeat the point of growing under your bed as it would be lit up like a fuckin spaceship) these lights are a fire hazard.

Lowryder is a ruderalis strain which is very unstable usually and skips the vegitative period completely meaning it will bud no matter how many hours of light it gets it is not worth the risk of getting busted as the yield is shit and from what my friends have said when they tryed growing it is just aint that good when you smoke it....

it all depends on the situtation at hand and the setting, like if your in a crowded public place your not gonna whip out a bong, and when your sittin at your place with some friends your not gonna bust out with a toothpick joint now are ya? vapourizors are awesome if its just like you and one other person, or if like your sick and dont want all that smoke, nice long high without all the hackin, but with bongs it always fun to turn down the lights, turn on some tunes and just have everyone sittin in a cicle, but really its all up to you and how you like to smoke it.
The highs are different by the types of weed you smoke(duh), but like i said the settings will make your experinces differ from one another. :) hope that helped a bit,or if it even answered your question.

As sad as it is, marijuana is a depressant, and a pretty serious one if you ask me.

I'm tired of life. But then again, I'm tired everyday. At least I'm getting a good 5 hours of sleep a night, which is far better from the average 2 I was getting a few months back, but no matter how much sleep I get, I still feel exahusted.

I'm stuck living with my mom, who I can't really talk to, and there's no one else in the house. Plus, she's got really bad arthritis, and just had shoulder surgery awhile ago, so she expects me to do everything for her, ontop of going to school and working everyday. And lately, even my weekends I haven't had much free time. I'd be stuck helping out my dad or his girlfriend, which is a whole different story.

My dad had a hip replacement a month or so ago, and when he was in the hospital, he was giving the wrong medicine, which with a higher dose could have killed him. On top of that, none of the nurses, or doctors would even listen to him. Well, leading up to his operation he had undergone dramatic changes in his personality, and me and his girlfriend were both hoping that once his hip was taken care of things would go back to normal. Well, that would have been nice, but he's turned into a very bitter and angry old man. So much so, I'd say that he's a whole different person. Well, he's been taking his anger out on everyone around him, so much so that his girlfriend has left him and is planning on moving all her stuff out and find another place(which took over 3 trips with a big box van to move in, just recently.)

On top of that, my cousin who's in her early 20's got pregnant. Now her boyfriend was hitchhiking when they met, so he didn't have a place to live so my cousin brought him back to my aunt and uncle's house. Well, after they find out she's pregnant, they kick her out(she's always had problems with her parents), and my dad decided to take them both in. Now, this was before my dad got fucked up, so things weren't that bad, but then my cousin decided to leave her boyfriend. So she moved in with me and my mom, while he stayed at my dads. She started acting like a bitch to my mom, and packed her things and left without saying a word, where her boyfriend stayed with my dad awhile, untill he kicked him out. So now I'm good friends with this guy, who lives with crack-user and half the time has some alcoholic hungarian guy sleeping on his couch, all with a child coming in a month or so. And now he and my dad's girlfriend are talking about moving in together.

I don't really feel bad about being the older person in school though. I mean, it kind of sucked when I had to re-take grade 10 art when I was in the 12th grade, but now I'm in class with a bunch of people my age, so its not that bad. Plus, the only classes I've taken this year are 2 photography courses, and co-op.

The thing with life is, its going to give you stress, no matter what. There's always going to be some bullshit you've got to take care of, and thats just how it goes. I really doubt I would ever eat a bullet because I know that just because things aren't going good now, doesn't mean they won't get better, ya know. Life is what you make of it, so you might as well try to make the best of it. But for real, fuck the drama.

my grampa is prolly the biggest dickhead you'll ever meet in your life, he can make a person wanna kill themselves in seconds of talking to him, he has no heart, and hes constantly putting me down.... i cant live with it, ive wanted to kill him in his sleep constantly, but i dont wanna be a murderer... i'd rather kill myself then put himself outta his misery...

ever since living with him, my life has been even more of a downward spiral... he couldnt be nice if he tried, and its even worse now that he has alzheimers, and we still have to live with him...

Sad to say i got demoted into the 11th grade for dropping classes in which i had no hope in passing, and now im failing even worse, and i cant get out of the hole in which i've dug... my mind doesnt work anymore.... why havent i submitted any art? because ive lost most of my artistic abilities.... and i want to cry about it all, but i havent cried in god knows how long, and im not going to have pity for myself

All you need is a bottle cap, a bowl, and top peice(optional), and a pair of siccors or something to cut the cap with. My bowl is threaded, so it screws right into the lid, which fits perfectly on your chamber. These bowls work perfect for waterfall's too, if you don't have many options. Another thing I love about these bowls is that you can fit some tubing on the bottom end, so you can water-filtered buckets, which I like a lot more.

i filled it with water and stopped up the top with some clay. then i made a little round wall around where i was gonna drill the hole and filled that with water. i used a hard sanding bit from a dremel kit in a handheld drill, and i drilled a beautiful hole, with a very small crack.

except i was lazy and when my stem didnt fit in i tried to force it and it broke it (because of the crack). ill try again tomorrow (and take some in progress pics). so stay posted.

also if you want one of those beakers theres a bunch of em at my school, so i may be able to sell them. pm me i guess.
