Welcome to te 6th official Bombing Science sketch battle! This battle is a special one, because it's the first one we have an invited judge to choose the winners: Scien (http://www.myspace.com/scienrock) of the infamous 123Klan (http://www.123klan.com). It's also the first battle that we give prizes to the top 3 sketchs!

Here's the breakdown of the prizes:

1st Place:
- $100 of Evidence Clothing
- $50 Bombing Science gift certificate
- 5 Montana Hardcore cans

2nd Place:
- $60 of Evidence Clothing
- $25 Bombing Science gift certificate

3rd Place:
- $40 of Evidence Clothing


And now, the rules of the battle:

- Deadline: March 23rd 2008
- Word to sketch: PROX
- Colors: Any colors
- Medium: Pencils, Pen, Markers
- Backgrounds and characters are accepted, but not necessary.

Sketches will be judged mostly on the letter structure.

Scien's Comment: I think Mistix, compared to many other sketches in this contest, really has a personal and original style. The letters are simply and well done. Great!

Ugh stupid people consider anything from the westcoast newschool style to be MSK style, people don't realize that's backwards as hell. MSK rocks newschool westcoast styles, they didn't invent them.

I think I would have a tough choice between Fezat and Mewt and Cile for this, I dig Cile's a lot, he didn't get enough credit.

mewts is from LA!? of course he's going to be influenced by msk, they ARE LA. but even so, i dont see it as a major part of his style, he's definately got his own thing going on more than people know.

as for scien, i respect the man, but that doesnt mean i cant disagree with his comments. if he had entered his sketch in that battle it wouldnt have made my top three.
