1. Letter form...they are a little bit deformed...but not bad at all.
2. Don't overlap too much...I think you did fine here but you are walking the thin line...
3. Your shadows are a little crooked. You should make the lines parallel appropriately so it looks like there are two layers of the same image offset from each other.

Not bad over all good flick. I would like to see some more...some variations perhaps...

2. the face in the E makes it hard to tell if it's an E, or just a C with a face in it.
3.don't make excuses for why your shit doesn't look good.
no one sees "toy as fuck" or "drunk as hell" next to a throw and says "oh, it's dope now."
4. make all of your letters a similar size. No fat B, skinny u, long L type deals.

Azul; I didn't realise there was an 'R', it looks like an 'A'.
U bends and slopes at the bottom, a V is pointy, take a look at your 'U' and notice how pointy it is. Just soften it a little, and make the 'R' more r-like. If that makes sense, bring the bar for the line R____ this one, in a little more at the top.

honestly? the letters suck. drunk or sober that style isnt cool. the r looks like an H and the E looks like a G. my advice to him would be find another style or practice practice that one until it looks good. i dont care if he was drunk.
