F is a hard letter, it is very difficult to make it look like an F and not an E. Although the E has that little line which makes it an E. Although i understand the difficulty. Im not really sure what else to do with the A and the top bars things and point things will be fixed.

no. 2 pencils arent very flattering to throwups or whatever u wanna call that... get a sharpie at least, do it fast, make the letters fatter so there isnt a gap in between every one... try to do the outline of each letter without taking ur marker off the paper, and then u can add the details of each letter after (like the middle of the A or the kick in the left part of the S)... try all that and practice...

a throw is a throw, not much letter structure involved, lose the dead space and practice other styles. you'll get it

It'd probably look better with the light fill and dark outline. 3D might look better in opposite direction. Try it on a wall with that 49er cap. You can draw a throwie. Go paint some shit.

The 3D shit is up to you, guess it depends on what characteristic of the top of the letters you wanna' focus on. 3D is easier in that direction cause the square tops. Drop shadow might look nice in the opposite direction so you can get the curvyness in there too.

It's been warm enough to rain the past couple days and melt the snow away. Been workin' on straight letters on paper for a while. Wastin' some scraps for shits.
The 'W' gives me trouble. I figure I gotta' work on proportions cause the letters don't look the same size up on the wall. Didn't wanna' sit in the rain anymore and clean up the pink outline. I probably should have kept the letters straighter instead of trying the wavy shit on the first try.

Haha. Thanks man. I gotta' fix that 'R' tucking behind the 'E'. Definitely. I think it throws of the two dimensional flow of the letters and drop shadow, after looking at it. Like the 'R' should go over the 'E' and the 'E' over the 'W' and so on...so the letters actually look on top of each other.

I've been trying to really focus on straight letters and the letters themselves. I wanted to keep it simple. That was mostly to figure out what that sketch would be like on a wall. The proportions of letters and shadow was my biggest concern.

I didn't wanna' go overboard with a fill. That has nothing to do with the letters. If you can't paint a decent letter, who cares about the fill? I used to paint wack ass 'pieces'. I wanna' take my time and figure out the basics so I know what I'm actually doing. The high level skill shit comes with time and it's only been 5 months.

everytime i think of kets K i think of the circle at the end of the right leg. kinda played. once everyone saw how raw it was everyone started doing which made KETs once amazing throw look like everyones elses who had a K in there name. either way you need some style in your throw.

I think the bottom of the R should over lap the E but the top should be overlapped by the E. That way it goes with the flow of the letters.

example- top of R covered by E. Bottom of R covers E. Top of W covered by E. Bottom of W covers E. top of T covered by W
