thanks for the help yeah my shit lacks clean crisp lines I think it is a little more challenging for me because im a lefty so i dont get the view of how my letters are developing as i paint them. I've been doing my handys backwards because it helps to keep my letters tighter together and the same size. Got that idea from weedeater said he has a friend who is a lefty writer that does that. Anyway definitly take your advice your shit is always crisp

I'm a lefty, too. :) And yeah, I definitely understand what you mean by not being able to tell how your letters are developing. Just keep working at it and that cleanliness will come. Don't be afraid to study typography and calligraphy either. Maybe attempt to emulate and create some blackletter (look it up) fonts.

Makehate- Looks really good to me. good letters, and, from what I can tell, clean lines. My only crit would be to make the F (and possibly the R, but it looks nice the way it is) more dominant. Solid, nonetheless. Looks like a sick handstyle, too. Props

Red dot caps are the shit for throw fills, and for your drop shadow I recommend using a calligraphy cap so your edges can be sharp as fire...stock tips are fine for the outline

i dont think this is good advice at all... first off red dot caps are thin for outlining, u can only get them at art primo.... maybe u meant orange dots (rusto fats)...... and second using a callig cap for a drop shadow? cant say ive tried it but im assuming itd be a pain in the ass since they drip a lot when ur tryin anything less than 6" wide...
i say orange dots for fill.... and maybe a ny thin or banana cap for the outline and 3d and "glow" or final outline ..... but u can do a nice big throw fast with 2 cans and one orange cap... all a ***** neeeeed!

what you do on your blackbook is practice your letters your style, your flow... all the theoretical stuff that you need to know BEFORE worrying about can control, wall types, technique, cleanliness etc...

practicing on walls straight away isn't bad, you'd be practicing both your wall experience AND your theory, but at what cost? working under pressure, spending much more money and effort to practice, getting bad rep until you get good at graff, risking getting caught
it's not practical, why do all that when you can have all the time and comfort your home has to offer and the ease of a piece of paper in front of you to try and try over again in peace and quiet with no worries ? hehe

peso - dont be afraid to loosen up and develop your letters. that P is solid. now make your s have some stye. and work on that drop shadow. try shooting it to the bottom of the throw. it might give it a little depth. lol and id ditch the little lines around the p and o. i dont think they work

Peso - your P has blocky bits while the rest of your letters are round. Maybe try to shape the bottoms of your letter so they are more like the P. The E would look better if you divide the middle bar so it is doubling back. If that makes sense. I also think you should just do a drop shadow, not the sorta 3-d esque drop shadow you've got going on now

Jakro - K is no good, why didnt you put holes in your letters? even just like a single line or scrunched line for a hole? Anything! And its shaky because the lines are shaky... Harlem shakes are your worst enemy when painting.

that S is seriously hurtin, the O looks like a D, and the E aint lookin too hot either, especially the bottom left thing u put on it. and you should get rid of the little sliver pieces you put at the top of the e and s for now cause they lookin weak as well.

You should stick with bottom of the S u did like 10 posts up, that O too

Since you asked. I dont like the lines that arent attached, you know the ones that fuck everything up when you go to fill in MS paint. The E and A could use a little more definition as well. Maybe try to line up the mid line of the e with a line in the S to get a little more symmetry at the beginning and end. Last but not least Binary Star is dope, and Senim Silla's solo album is killer
