Crits on your throw, i dig it but the square ends below are off but maybe its a matter of taste. The RA connection dont like it, just make the loose from eachother. The first leg of the R is too hidden behind the B, you have to stretch the throw more.

Skadeem: Maybe try to model the bottom of your K off the bottom of the S and E rather than the P. I think it will vibe better.
Phil: I like the B a lot. Not feeling the R and struggling to make heads or tails with the rest of it.
Always: That bottom joint is sick. Middle one isn't bad, but the L and T seem a little out of place or a little plain compaired to the S and R.

dope other than, like what MN said, don't do throws on the bottom of a page. and i say fix the bottom right leg of the R, and you're set.
colors- good, but try and make the bottom left leg of the R stick out less, and give the overall throw more flow, for some reason it looks stiff to me, as if you took your time drawing it. and one last thing, the E in the first one is better.
germer- you're on the right track, but it's still fairly weak. weird, i woulda thought your throw game would be up to par with your handies and pieces. keep practicing, and simple it up a bit more and your throw will get better. E on the smoke flick is dope though.
fish- go more simple, dont do any of those point things, or faces. and fix that handie, hurts to look at hahah

Seriously guys, nobody is going to help you get a perfect throwie, no matter how dope it is. Because a perfect throwie comes from arm recognition. Your arms get used to the same motions that you do it so many times it comes naturally and looks clean. Just do it over and over and over and over and over and over again. buy one of those composition books, and fill the whole thing with one word. then let's see where you're at. Experiment though. Try different ends, rounding out, blocking out, weird extensions to add flow, all kinds of shit. but no matter what you do, you need to take the time and FUCK WITH IT.

dank for begining try to curve the bottom of your e's and r, like you did on s and d. try to maintain the same letter top like the one on s, by that you gave em continuity. or you find different way of making top, mid and bottom parts of letters to fit the flow of your other letters. there is no step by step guide, all you have to do is practice a lot and your hand will find new ways to define letters, itself. And i also believe throwies are heavily stylized latters. like phill saidn take time and fuck with it.

sape thats not a throwup, put it in the 'post ur painted pieces' thread or something... id call it a fillin, looks real small though

goon throwups are supposed to be fast and usually u shouldnt put a full color background on it lol the idea is 'throwing' ur name 'up' on the wall as fast as u can with style... keep at it, try markers or pens instead of colored pencils lol

its not like that was all i did, just all i really bothered to flick and its right at the side of a busy road near a busy intersection, il take a flick today of a hollow i did on a wall at the actual intersection, and i caught around 50 tags and 3 hollows going down the main road all with cans, so im pretty sure thats bombing. but about the silver yeah i guess, dont really know why i did it in silver, i guess i though it would be more visible, maybe il go back and fill it n outline in black

lose the line in the bottom of the V... and i dont think u should define the C more, looked better the first time.... basically work on the drop shadow ur attempting cuz its not workin... its easy though all u haveta do is think of the whole throw moved down and to the left a little bit... or whichever way u want the drop to go..... seems like it just doesnt fit right on the top left of the V.... ull get it


oh and throws should never take more than like 4 minutes... i aim for 2 minutes or less, but its easier to do the fill with cans compared to markers... and u can go huge and itll still take no time really.... just dont worry about bein super clean, throws are meant to be grimy, clean throwups are for sponsored fags that get paid to paint lol as long as the outline is dope the throw will impress... i hate when people take their time and do cutbacks on throws...

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Looking at it I definitely like the first C more too, and I'm going to try and work on my shadows. They're just hard, mine look a little thick I think. That's good advice, I definitely want mine to go to the left. I've done tags with paint with an old, toy name but never done a throw up with paint so I want to make sure it doesn't look like shit when I actually get up with it. But I'll work on my throw and post what I have eventually, I appreciate the advice again.

i like the sesik one most.... and the RAI in the brains one is nice, but the N is too big and the B needs work... the Ts in tart look good, maybe try a lowercase r on that one keep the rest the same....
the second one looks like pesoe or somethin, not feelin that first letter.... and the cross and 4 dots in the O is overdone by a lot of writers... just make different faces in ur Os that are somewhat original

the L looks kinda like a cartoon middle finger. The I works, but the thing on the right side makes it a little awkward. The G could use some deffinition, it looks like it's collapsing on it's self. the H is hiding. The T looks like something just stuck on the end... maybe a C. Not trying to be harsh I struggle with them too. Only throw I've got is some boxes....

you're trying too hard to make your letters connect. neither the v-e nor the n-o are defined. i would think this read vnm, no vowels. the top and bottom "lines" makes this awkward, too. the v is short, the n even more so, the m has more height than both of them and it together they look bad. also, i just dont think the icecream swirl bottoms are working.

if it makes you feel better, i was feeling that straight letter highway spot you did. :)

edit: come to think about it, I actually intended to make it a vnm throw, bit then noticed I could throw a couple holes in the v and n and make it venom.

but suppose those holes didn't exist, and the throw actually read vnm instead of the whole venom word. and the tops of the m were shorter to match the height of the v and n..
suppose I made all those modifications and even lost the pointy bottoms. what would you think of it then? chadwarden?

Phat, it seems like your M is HUGE compared to the rest of it, maybe you could find a way to narrow it down a little. On the E you should do it like the top of your O make the left actually have the point that comes up, the way the E is right now looks awkward and forced, the point on the left side should help it flow more naturally.
