Thanks a lot, Sneez. Taking a look at the last throw you posted, I think you're forcing style a bit. Your EEZ seems to be structured correctly, but your SN fall off really hard. I'd go a little while trying to make your letters completely proportional (right now they seem a little bottom heavy). I'd take a few steps back and just work on cleeeean cookie cutter styles for a while to get your bearings, then start to experiment and throw little variations in. Keep the ones you like and apply them to other letters to give it a good uniform style.

GERB- I wouldn't use those holes. Or if you do, work on making CLEAN perfect circles. I see you're trying to do a lowercase style. I wouldn't recommend it with the letters you chose. I think GRB look especially good as capitals. You lose a lot of potention with that lowercase g. Look up some GIANT throws for some inspiration to make that letter lowercase. But your throws need a lot of work. Keep at it and fill up some books.

BAKED- Start studying some throws. You're new with a loooong way to go. But yes, we all start somewhere.

Phat - Same problem really. The VE look decent but the other letters fall off. That V is tight. I'd love to see that flare with a can. The e is good still, just kinda awkward because the V's weight is low and the e's weight is high (does that make sense?) the NO connection needs to go. And the M just doesn't work still. It seems like the motion of the throw goes diagonally up starting from the V. Keep at it, homie.

@YorkCro: I have no idea what I'm talking about, so take my comments with a grain of salt. But the one I liked best from your last post was the piece outlined in red at the very bottom of the page. The "K" seems more consistent with the "R" at the end, and the little hat wearing character in the "O" is cool. I would experiment a bit more with the swoop of the "Y" though... I liked the yellow one above better, because the bottom of it is similar to the "K" at the very end of the red outlined one. So if you used the Y from the yellow throwie, and the K from the one outlined in red, I think you'd have a nice symmetry going on.

What I'm about to post is pretty wack, but I'd like some feedback anyway. I'm trying to experiment with something that a non-graffiti writer can instantly read, and that gets away from the bubbly letters that are cliche in throwie letters. I write "etc."

make the point part of you m smaller, and that little hump that it turns into larger, dont let the middle lines of E touch your U, and scratch that tiny vertical line you put on your S that starts the bottom. Also, make it bigger, its easiar to learn practical control and line when you make your letters about 4/5 your height because you have more space to work with, then when you want to make it small or different letter sizes/add ons you'll be able to move that hand like its nothing

but the N looks like an M, try not bringing the middle up so high into the letter and also cut the 2nd bump on top. cause both of those basically define it as an M not an N.
and the A just needs some tweaking so the middle is more centered, making the right part not look so much like a leg of an R.
also you probably know this, but try to get it all lined up on the bottom.

If I'm not mistaken I recall you.... and if my memory serves me right you've gotten better. Keep fuckin' with 3 and 4. Relax with some of the highlights it's a bit of an over kill. some of your stuff is a little wobbly and out of proportion.... like the R's in 2 and 3.

That 3rd one looks ok, not a throw but its good compared to your other shit. On the top 2 you're doing bubble styles for the ER but bar type ish on the VT, conform that shit. Look at some throws on flickr or something, usually they're 1 or 2 lines per letter, just go with that for now and keep the whole thing simple. btw I've only ever seen 3 guys who can rock a shine in their throws and not look like trash.

Dont listen to these children; take a look at their shit, not quite in a place to be saying scrap it. Let's see how you do it on paper and go from there. Definitely don't scrap it, it's simple and on the right track.

for a year that's pretty weak. the only thing i actually like is the T, which is actually pretty sick. don't do shines, and typically on throws you do a drop shadow, where as you're doing 3D. and that handy, from what i cab see, is extremely weak. focus on that for now.

^nice. I'd lower the middle line in the U so its not cramped in the little spike there, make the bottom of the e a little bigger, and make the swirl in the S smaller or lower. Actually I think you can come up with a cooler S than that, but it looks fine as is.
