As far as I know they're like streaks but harder. I know the brand name but we used to keep that to ourselves, so I'm not going to say it.

But I could be wrong... who knows.

just a different medium, there hard to buff and last forever. also good for doing small scale characs and drawing...

i've used tire crayons before, not that great. so don't get those.

theyre like crayons...except made with solidified oil paint. i really like writing with them, i dont know why, i just do. theyre nice for writing on rough stuff like rust and wood, since your writing with a stick of paint you dont have to worry about fucking up any nibs or anything.

some people use them for drawing characs by smearing/ blending them with their fingers but i havent gotten good enought at drawing characs or using streaks to do this

They are very awesome and super cheap. If you PM i'll give you a link where you can get them. I don't want to say the brand name of them because I know there will be hundreds of toys grabing to buy them and totally ruin it for everyone.

But yeah they are totally awesome. I have a few that even if they're painted over, it marks through the paint and is still visiable! The only thing I would say that kinda sucks about them is the odor they give off is alittle strong and hard to handle, otherwise they are sweet.

MrCzar
03-10-2005, 04:27 PM
They are so awesome, yeah they suck over glass because they can be buff with a razorblade, but for the 99% of other surfaces they are great.

03-10-2005, 06:06 PM
I've used them before I don't remember the brand name though so I cant help you there, They buff of glass with a razorblade, thats why junkyards and car dealerships use them. they kick ass for writhing on benches and picnic tables especialy. but they wil write on any thing without getting fucked up which is a nother good thing, so you can write on pavement, asfaut whatever without having to worry about the nib getting messed because ther isn't one

Bad, bad, bad assumption. Any one with NO graffiti experience can get 10000 posts.
And your obviously a little slow and can't figure out the context of that question.

Stlk
03-11-2005, 03:32 AM
well then there needs to be a new fuckin rule, the mods shuldnt let these toys get to 10,000 posts unless they show proof.

And i may be slow, but thats how ur mom liked it last night BITCH.

MrCzar
03-11-2005, 07:15 AM
Hey dude it's a forum, not the military. I think you're the only stupid ass who thinks your posting rating has anything to do with your actual skill.

epod
03-11-2005, 07:25 AM
....wtf does a forum have to do with your skill... the number of posts u hav has SHIT to do with your skill... forget wat u said stlk, how bout we say u cant consider them a graffer until they show proof of their skill. think about it, a cop could come on here, and b on here for like 5 or 6 years following every topic,.... that could b any1.. and idiot would think he has mad graff skills, but it turns out hes really setting up on every1 on here.. just thhink man!

little late for this but tagging the bottom of a swimming pool is effing sick

Havoc411
03-12-2005, 11:20 AM
its dumb, i could see doing a throw on the side when its drained cause thats bigger and more notciable than a goddamn scrawl pen mark on the bottom of a pool.

It's funny how nobody can keep on topic, from lumber crayons to doing throws on the side of an empty pool. The filling it again.

personally, i dont like streaks i racked one from some office place or something just to try out and if the surface had any little bumps or w/e it has spaces in the line, just like crayons

i know thats how there spose to be but i dont like them they are really hard to buff tho and yes u dont have to worry bout fuckin up a nib

i might go try it out again on different surfaces just to see if i still dont like it

but thats jsut me.....

all of you keep going off topic stick to what the topic is please

i like lumber crayons if you buy them therer only like 50 cants (you are poor to steal somthing worth 50 cents) just go to the hardware store gets some and taggg stuff on the walk home and see how it is and iff you like them buy like 10 melt them and put them in a jumbo glue stick and you have a paint stick ;)

melt crayons in a tin can over low heat. soften with brake fluid, petroleum jelly, cooking oil, whatever. pour into empty chapstick or glue stick. soft crayons. good for cheap.

bump on that, A lumber crayon is a wax base with pigment in it, its a bitch to buff off of textures like brick and cement, but if its too rough it doesn't look very good. Markall paint sticks are way better 4sure....

a lumber pencil (someone on this thread had them confused) is just that a pencil and worthless unless you are woodworking.

Got these at my local art store. Shiva oil paint sticks. After they dry they are hard to buff. Takes a while to dry since it is initially oil paint.

i owned a yellow one, its odd. they like melt in the sun if that makes sense. not worth buying, rack if you can.maybe there are diffrent types, who knows, but atleast the type i had, they werent so great, worked better indoors and they werent so much opaque . not recomanded, stick to oil based streaks
