As of late the photo log battle has owned every single battle BombingScience has.
You can always count on quality entries by everyone, really tough decision.
I'mma have to look at all of them like 5 minutes a piece, good job all.
No one lost here :)
*Edit-I went with Sou-Mvd, I don't know why.

I was worried that this pic wouldn't translate at this size, and I guess I was right. I printed this at 18x24. At that size, with the 35 minute exposure, you can count the Kevlar fibers on each of the speaker cones, and in each of the bubbles you can see literally everything that was in my room at the time, including the other speaker hanging on the wall. I went in and out of the room 3 times during the exposure and the film is so slow that you don't even see the slightest blur / ghost.
That being said, Monkey's shot is fucking amazing. Haven't seen your graff, man, but your photo skills get my full respect. Getting a non-blurred human in a shot that was obviously an extremely long exposure with the aperture stopped down to a pinhole is a major feat, and it paid off in this image. Those colors are on BLAST! Love it.

i liked the speaker...and looked further into it at the reflections etc....it just didnt do much for me as a photo....but yer it was a nice photo never the less...also i did have a bit of movement in mine....it started to rain and then a gust of wind came haha! Was a 30sec exposure with apature of like f22 or something....thanks though^^....what camera are you using to get a 35 min exposure? Mine goes up to 30sec then i can use bulb mode.....so for me i had to put it on timer then run into place....but i can only get 30 sec exposure as i have no one to hold bulb down for me :P

I don't think that there is any digital that could handle a 35 minute exposure, even using the bulb setting. Film is so much more forgiving than digi sensors. The speaker was done with a Hasselblad 500c medium format film camera using its equivalent of bulb, shooting on Tri-X b/w film. I opened and closed the shutter manually using a remote shutter release.
If you are using an SLR you should be able to get a shutter release that locks (I recommend the cabled version instead of the wireless) so that you can open and close the shutter manually on long exposures. This way you can use the lowest ISO, the smallest aperture, and longer exposures to get even sicker detail.

ah nice work....yer i mean my d40x has a hard time processing a 30 second exposure....especially if i accidentally leave noise reduction on LOL....ive never used a medium format camera....only my 35mm pentax mx......yer i havent looked into to much stuff with my film camera but yer i will have to check for something that locks the shutter in on bulb mode....

Just buy a wireless remote, works great with bulb mode since you can avoid touching the camera completely. Also a lot less hassle and smaller then a corded remote.
