How To Refill Otr Markers

Ive always had a fair share of markers and never really used one alot more than the rest but one day my mini otr marker crapped out on me and ran out of ink, so i was wondering if you have to use OTR ink or if you can use your own and if so how you can get it through the pump system

- YOU MUST USE AN ALCOHOL BASED INK LIKE OTR, MARSH, GARVEY, NERO, PILOT, ETC.
- I DON'T RECOMMEND GRIFFIN, IT WILL CLOG THE NIB.
- UNSCREW THE MARKER, TAKE OFF THE VALVE, REFILL THE MARKER, RESCREW THAT SHIT.
- PUMP THE NIB UNTIL THE NEW INK FLOWS THROUGH.
- KILL YOUR CITY.

THATS A DUMB QUESTION EVEN I KNOW HOW TO REFILL MY MARKERS. BUT I DO HAVE A COMMENT, I HAVE AN ON THER RUN MINI AND WHEN I GOT IT I USED IT A FEW TIMES, AFTER A WILE I THOUGHT THAT I SHOULD PUT SOME MARSH IN IN IT INSTEAD OF THE ONE IT CAME WITH. SO I TOOK OUT THE INK IT HAD AND PUT IT IN A MOP THEN I PUT SOME MARSH IN IT. BUT THEN CAME MY PROBLEM, IT KIND OF DIES OUT A LOT. AND WHEN I PUMP THE INK IT GOES OUT NICE THEN AFTER A WILE IT DRIES IN THE NIB. DO YOU THINK ITS BECAUSE THE NIB HAD SOME OF THE IN THAT THE MARKER CAME WITH AND I DIDNT WASH IS OUT AND WHEN IT MIXED WITH MARSH IT HAD A CHEMICAL REACTION? :(

I f you want some decent staining permanent shit.Get some clothes dye (usually powder) and add water.The only thing it wont stain is glass and the only way the get it off is to paint over it...Good for bus roofs and trains..

Well no i dont recall wondering how to twist off the top to a twistable top marker. Like i said you shouldn't be affraid to try new shit. Its like girls you shuld try all types and sizes. ;)

when you screw off the top the pump systems still there, its not just a big empty stace to pour ink and i thought that rather than wrecking a perfectly good marker by fucking with the pump system i would ask some people who've done it before

and common sense always helps...so if you know that ur unscrewing a pen which has ink/paint in it...and while your doing it youre reading step by step the "guide to unscrewing your pen" at least put a bit of newspaper or something under you so you dont wet yourself... ;)

india ink is ok if you dot care about the buff. anything can be buffed if they got the right shit. it worked fine for me in an empty zig glue marker. maybe it was to thick for your otr. was is a paint one or ink?
