nah man don't worry about playing the other Metal gear solid games, you basically get what's going on. Although you can do a little wikipedia search and MGS database research which is free on the Playstation store. Ya it is the best game I have ever played, and I didn't play the other ones, so not biased there. DBZ wasn't too bad, the fighting is a lot better and has online play so cheers for that.

Haven't had a chance to play online yet, i'll let you know what I think. I played the bad company demo and wasn't impressed, im real picky on those types of games. Not a uge fan of COD4, although im so fucking stoked for Socom.

MGS4 is so badass. Online, it's alright, it's really easy to get headshots, which is a bitch 'cuz it feels like forever that you have to respawn, and it's awkward playing team deathmatch, in a steal based game... Like, you'll be running around, and then BAM! Out of some corner, a guy headshots the shit out of you. Then when you're hiding in a corner, no one else is running around, so you're forced to get up and move... I prefer the story mode, minus the long ass story/cut scenes that I don't follow really at all.
Excited for Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and some other shit that isn't coming to mind. Little Big Planet, and possibly Home. Sounds like both of those are going to waste days upon days to the point where I'm failing school...

MGS 4 wasnt really for me..obviously its an amazing title but i just didnt feel it because its the first one iv ever played...the 200000 hour cut scenes and the ultra modern galatica 2029 Gekko monster things with 15 legs and shit was abit fake for me...im way to authentic when it comes to games..if its not real i wont like it..although the weapons in MGS 4 are amazing.

Uhh, no, the first time you're in the mission briefing, in the plane, you use the little metal gear camera shocky guy, whatever his name is, and look all around the plane. You should find the camera.

Bad company is a terrible game as far as multiplayer goes, I played a little bit of the single player wasnt to impressed either. Suped up graphics with no good gameplay to back it up. Its as if they wanted to be different so they totaly changed some of the controls that 90% of the other console shooters used, which in turn made the game feel akward and sometimes unplayable. 10 billion vehicles on a map? Fun for the one guy who is using artillery but for the other 10 ground soldiers a field of hell.

The "upgrades" are hardly upgrades, the goggles that are suppose to "lock on" and destroy vehicles works only if the guy using the tank or what ever your trying to hit decides to take a break for about 5 minutes while you switch over wait 1 minute for it to lock on and the other 4 for the artillery to actually come down, otherwise even if he was moving at one mile per hour, its going to miss and be a big waste of fucking time.

Sniper rifle? I have never seen a more broken sniper rifle in any other game.

The health system is incredibly stupid, if your are low on health your whole screen turns a tint of white and its hard to move, WOW talk about fun, and the only way to fix this would be to go find a medic, but seriously who the hell is dumb enough to be a medic in that game, the gun you weild has to be the weakest most inaccurate piece of shit, good luck taking someone down with an air soft gun where a gust of wind will blow your bullets 20 feet off target.

The gametypes or rather gametype is boring after about two rounds. Yay I get to go blow up chests full of gold, once again an example of them trying to be different, and it failling miserably. How about some variety? I understand its just a demo and some things will be added, but the future doesnt look to bright because I dont see them abandoning their combat system.

Now don't get me wrong I want game developers to go out on a limb and try new things, I dont want another cookie cutter shooter to be released with the same game types same health system and same weapons, but when you try and re invent console shooters it usualy doesnt work out.

Don't get me started on UT3.

as for Skate 2..i carnt wait..SKATE was a huge letdown because of the extremley POOR framerate..it was unplayable..if it had a smooth framerate SKATE would be a 10 / 10 in my book

dude, there is a trick to the story mode with the rob and big challenge, i didnt do it the first time but i tried it later and it does work. its kinda the pussy way out but hey, if u cant do it, go ahead and cheat ;).
ok so you start out by getting on top of the box. you have to stay stationary. then u get close to the edge hit ur tre flip then hit ur crook. its easy. well easier than popping off the ground.

and for skate 2, i havent heard the release date but i KNOW its in the making. i havent seen any decent teasers but i know the story line already. you return to san vanelina or whatever the fuck its called and the city is hella ran down, and i guess you disappeared (from the last series of skate).

fallout3 was wicked, had alot of fun. Be sure to save alot at the end. Kind of cool having a mutant help you along at the end aswell.
Playing Bioshock now and loving it...after playing a ton of dark games its nice to play a real colourful one. No drop off in bloodshell.
