i found a box on a trail last year and was introduced to the subculture of Geocachers. i've found a few with careful searching and no GPS. i was wondering if anyone else was in on it?

Geocaching is a good way to fill an afternoon going on a treasure hunt, and you don't always need GPS but we bring a six pack and a few prerolled.
Sometimes there is expensive treasures and sometimes its just a book to sign.

things are alot differrent when you&#39;re looking for a film canister in a 6 story building.

gps doesnt do all the work, and its incredibly tough to find some. once you&#39;re out there in the element swatting mosquitoes.

raVEK, you can find them without a gps, its just tougher, thats all. alot tougher.

R.F., geocachers are a group of people who hide stuff in boxes in the woods and list the coordinates onlike so that items can be swapped and people can adventure out and learn about their surroundings.

what coordinates do they give you? lat long, or UTM, or both, if they give you both, it should be easy to do with a map, or a computer if you don&#39;t have a GPS.... and yeah, you can get a GPS pretty much anywhere, and they are cheap as hell now.. unless you want some fancy ass shit.
