what you said reminds me of exactly how i use to be. i stpoped coloring to work on my letters. that why i most do all my sketches with only a black sharpie.
all im saying is if youre going to pull what i did then you should grab a black marker to fill in your 3d and trace your outline.

este - wow looks great, amazing coloring.. i even like the loops, stars and arrows but would have loved a different uni (compared to the invisible/white "forcefield") and not sure about the yellow spash behidn it
ohsnap -good stuff. like the white highlights
ecb - so close yet so far, very cool 3d fill
fr3gna - hmmm dont know what to say, its clean, but loose the drips
synps - balance might be something to work on
snielsgreen - hmmm your letters seem to be missing a "theme" or a way of constinancy

Gave it to ecb, wasn't feeling the width of the letters, but still good style and structure. Este's looks great, but the K is way too much, and the O looks like an A, while the N is positioned weird.
