Eskimo's Guide to Getting Free Games for N00bs!

Preparation

Okay first you have to download Bittorrent if you don't have Limewire. http://www.bittorrent.com/download?csrc=splash (download and install)

Then you need Daemon Tools Lite http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?catid=5&mode=ViewCategory (download and install)

You also need Winrar (most people have it) http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Next go to Torrents.to and find the game you want. Make sure it has more seeders than leechers unless you want to wait 2 weeks.

Okay, after a few hours you will have downloaded your game.

Installing

The file is usually a .Rar (icon is a stack of 3 books) with many files so open double click and make sure you have the whole folder selected.

If the whole folder is not selected press the Up arrow under the add button until the folder is selected.

Then press extract to and pick a place to put it. I usually put them in my download folder.

If it is NOT an ISO file there should be directions on how to install it. Torrents uploaded by Dopeman or Loder are usually not ISO.

If it is an ISO continue with these directions...

Right click Daemon Tools icon (in your task bar next to the time). Click Emulation and then All Options ON.

Then right click the icon again. Go Virtual CD/DVD-ROM then Device 0: (J:) Empty and then click Mount Image

Find the image wherever you extracted it to and click mount.

Your computer will think there is a disc in the drive and it will bring up the menu.

Click install and begin the installation.

If it wants a serial number and there isn't one in the folder you downloaded just go to serials.ws and search the game. Pick the one with the highest working %

It will ask you where to install it. Just use the default one that's already there.

Once it's done press finish but don't run the game.

Cracking

In the folder you downloaded and extracted from the beginning, there should be some extra files or 'cracks'.

Open My Computer, double click (C:), open program files and open the folder that is named the titled of the game you installed.

Select the cracks in the other folder and drag them into the bin folder unless instructed otherwise in the directions it came with.

Then start the game.

If it says there is no disk and it needs a disk go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ and search for your game. Download one of the No-DVD cracks and put it in the folder you put the cracks in.

You should have a working game!

You need a special disk drive for your Xbox. They're usually close to 100 dollars but you can just burn any game you want to a DVD and play it for free.

You just need to mount the image with Daemon Tools.

im trying to get my powerbook g4 17" set up to an external screen. doesnt matter if its a TV or if its a computer monitor.

...The choppiness? Yeah that's the graphics card, Get an HD4850 or GTX260 core 216. And if your other hardware, such as your cpu are up to speed (what processor are you running? How much ram etc.?) you should be able to play most games smooth.
