One thing that I hate about these battles is that kids with better markers get a better advantange. 603 and roolette were the best because they didnt use any fancy chisel tip and brush pens.

I think next battle we should make it HB pencil only or byro only as everyone has one of them. That way things are fair.

that view is really unreasonable because as a matter of fact i DO look at the letters and i DO know what takes talent. but graffiti is evolving and if youre going to give all this "old school, classic" kinda lecture no matter what i say, then ill just shut up right now. if youre going to think about it for a second and say to yourself, "those letters might not follow traditional standards, but still look good" then congratulations, you learned something. if you had said that you just liked his letters then i wouldnt have said anything.

If you use pressure fading styles, your letters are most likely shit without it, and therefore shit period.
Some people can really pull it off with good letters (proper), but for most people it's just makeup.

Yea Draks speaks the truth, and for Nerse havent you ever heard of being modest and taking critisism. You should take what better writers tell you and listen then apply changes. Basically like slushi says it's fucking makeup aka cover up for shit. I'm not singling you out but don't make excuse when better more respectable people tell you your shit is wack just bite your lip, smile and improve it. When you can rock basics without a problem "THEN" you can experiment on new styles and structure.
