I haven&#39;t been writing that long, i joined just recently but have been writing before that, you probably had it before me if you have been writing rant since you joined in may though. I&#39;ve been pretty focused on sketching but i&#39;ve got a few throws up and people know of me. Do you write much?

Your throw is nice, but the blue seems off. As for the style looking like its says crant, perhaps if you thickened the letters and thined the curls, they won&#39;t look like they are part of the actual word.

Take a picture of someone in that actual pose so you have a better reference when you draw it. The heels might need to go together a little bit, and work on trying to make the legs look like they are bent at the knees and he&#39;s sitting on his heels or something.

Try forming the letter out of straight blocks with light, short pencil strokes. Oh, and abuse the shit out of your eraser if you need to. Just shape the letters the way you want from the blocks.

To p&#33;p, I&#39;d recommend putting the letters slightly closer together and keep them either in uppercase or lowercase. You need to add a bit more flair to it, e.g. like looping that leg of the R - but that comes with practice. I also wouldn&#39;t suggest getting ups with that tag yet, if that&#39;s what you were implying on the previous page, only because once you&#39;ve improved you&#39;ll regret putting that tag up everywhere, when it can and will improve majorly. And you can write a decent x, just takes more time to get the hang of than like an o.

To oaklander, you&#39;re rocking the simples, which is always good, but remember to try to keep the letters all the same thickness. E.g, the leg of your R is loads thinner than the vertical part of the e. Try to keep the letters on the same level for now too. Your drop shadow and force field look pretty good though so props for that.

To testify, lose the bend in the P, the top part of the S is too fat and the middle bit too thin and the top leg of the K looks silly - it needs to extend a little bit more horizontally rather than just pointing straight up. Dont forget about putting 3d on it too. You seem to have the very basic idea of a throwie though so keep at it&#33; =)

Hilo= Its ok, but the letter needs to be a little more represented and the 3d is off i think lol

Krazzie=I really like that first piece, but the C on it needs to be a little more defined at first glance i thought it was a lower case l, the second one is simple, which i am doing right now so love that one :). The 3rd one is pretty good not really feelin the R work on it :). But either way they are all pretty good lol

Furious= That throw could be gold if you keep workin on it, follow what Krazzie said and that throw shall be gold. And the piece, is nice but the P is hidden a little to much, like krazzie said.

looks fresh as hell bouncing soul...i dont really like the n tho. looks too short on the right leg. also you should try doing something a little different on the 3d. like make it lean toward the middle of the peice if your get what i&#39;m saying...all the 3d on the left hand side (of the middle of the piece) leans to the right and as you work towards the right it gets more and more vertical. until you reach the right side after the middle. then all the 3d lines should start leaning more and more to the right. its gives it a nice effect.

Looks good. The arrow extension on the top of the L threw me off. I thought it said EOVE until I read what you said. The O is hiding too. And your 3d on the right arrow is seriously fucked. It&#39;s just so conspicuously facing the other way... And about that 3d thing on mine, it wasn&#39;t supposed to do that... I even looked at it and it still looks normal to me. It was meant to be just a normal facing up 3d

I think it looks a little funny because its uneven. there are more letters on the right than the left. perhaps you should ditch the heart coming off the O and center the word.

As for bouncingsouls&#39; 3D. I think its fine. Not all 3D has to follow perspective. What you&#39;re telling him is dumb, anyways. You are basically saying to only do 3D a certain way, which is like saying to only make letters a certain way. There are many styles of letters, and there are many styles of 3D. Its the artist&#39;s prerogative to use which ever he wants.
Yes, you are only suggesting a 3D that follows a central vanishingpoint perspective, but you act as if it is better in some way.
