diz, keep your mind of the paint for now. keep it in the books.
you dont need to waste paint and/or walls, you will regret it after you do a horrible throw.
as for fills, im really working on them also. you can try highlights, and work on 3d. making the 3d go diffrent directions and also work with shadows.
you can also add bubble type things to the background kind of sourounding the peice.

Thanks for the help. I&#39;m definantly not gonna go out and buy anything until I get my styles down. Thats why I haven&#39;t quite gone out bombing yet. I don&#39;t think they&#39;re good enough. I&#39;m gonna get better at em and than I&#39;m gonna go bomb a school thats right down my friggin block. Just do one or two and a whole bunch of throw-ups around it and on different walls.

See... in the middle one I did a bubbly thing around it, that looks pretty right imo.

I need some help though. What do you guys really think of them? Not so much help me on how to start doing better, tell me some flaws in them and what would make em look better. THAN tell me what I should work on adding or just getting better at. Cause I think a lot of those are off the chain, but I wouldn&#39;t know.

So help some more. lol. Thanks all&#33;

Dizziy- I get the feeling you&#39;re in a small town. If so, DO NOT baomb a school&#33; Nothing pisses off authority worse than that. That was where I first bombed back in &#39;92. Small town school. It was in the paper and the whole town made a huge stink about it. Less than one year later I was arrested and what had them so pissed in the first place was the school.

Sorry, not feelin it.

I don&#39;t care too much for the a,c,e,r. Those seriously need some work imo. Its a very original idea for a tag and I think it has potential, but you seriously have got to work on all of those letters. I&#39;m really diggin the one in the circle though. Try that as a tag. That one looks pretty tight.

Squib- A nice start. That&#39;s exactly where you want to begin at. Got a handstyle?

Sparks- It looks like a deboned fish&#33; :lol: It&#39;s not bad by any means, but the style doesn&#39;t feel like graff. On the other hand, graff worldwide is massively varied so if you like it than it&#39;s all good :)

Not so much a small town. Maybe you heard of Funkytown Fort Worth Texas? IDK. Its not too big, but it sure as hell ain&#39;t small. Its right next to Dallas, so get a map, goto Texas, look upper east and you should see Dallas. Think of Fort Worth being slightly to the left of it.

Its not a small town, just hardly any graffiti. Maybe I won&#39;t tag a school, but I gotta hit something, ya know? Its not mine, either, so....

Anyways, got some comments on my bombs? They&#39;re not too good, but I think they&#39;re pretty tight. I&#39;ll bump em in a min so you can see em if you&#39;re too lazy.lol.

not yet really...im gonna work on that....i just figured everyone was saying to start basic cuase my attempt at complicated sucked so i just did a basic one

MUCH better- see that crap in the top right of that pic? thats what you wanna stay away from- the overlapping is good dont listen to anyone, how many bombs do you see where the letters DONT overlap :blink: .

Just keep advancing on that, the q should look more like a q. The next step would be to start to make space inside the letters, like the s, the interior lines dont have to touch... liiiiike....

And dont even think about 3d yet, and take out those inside dots you made. Just sketch basic, clean letters, and stay focused on that.

hmm depends wat kind like orange is not a personal favorite u have to shake for a long time to get the paint goin other wise u get colored water wich is ok for fast fills but some colors bleed but most dont only color i have had bleed was green but thats cuz i was holding it down for a while or do u mean does it bleed thru the paper? cuz it doesnt bleed thru the paper it just makes the paper nice and solid like wax kinda

hmm i would say dinky markers cuz the paint is more important eveyrone knows wat way ur tryna color it just dinky markers leave streaks thats all but if ur only doin 1 color fills on ur sketches then dinky is fine but if u wana fade and all that shit then i would say prisams, only reason i got deco is because they are e z to rack and only good shit near me so ya but other than that decos are usless unless u like makin stickers

well, one thing thats always a good idea wen first starting is to make a two letter throwie, that has the first and last letters of your name for u it would be (RH)

but if ur gunna do RSH then id suggest mnaking your letters all the same size and similar in shape. it gives them consistancey.

then again, im just a toy.

in my opinion it dont look right, the "non toys" stuff isnt like that , their letters are straight or follow a slant like indication, i was just pointing it out sometimes i write and since im left handed i tilt the paper and its crooked. sometimes i use a ruler but i got this shitty ass one at home so i dont really,

really though, what sparkz said, and like, sometimes it looks good if its uneven if it&#39;s a really nice pro piece, but if a toy does it usually it just looks like shit cause either it&#39;s unintentional or they didn&#39;t do it properly (properly meaning so it actually looks good). also, cause if you start off doing everything like all nice and even, your gonna do that naturally when you start advancing and progressing, and everything you do will look that much nicer, without you having to really work at it

no you want all the 3d to be like equal (like all the angles as equal as possible) so you should do one vanishing point for the whole thing, but use that as a guide like for where the lines go, remember all the angles should be as equal as you can make em if that makes sense

i like it....hey i was wondering something...its kinda off topic but i got those markers too but whenever i use them the color turns out all whack how did you get the to blen together??when ever i color somthing i can see all the strokes i made with the marker...............see this is what happened when i tried to use those
