stashboy - I like the letter style in the first set of stickers. The last one looks a little weird to me. It's unique which is good but it just looks plain to me. Maybe try adding a drop shadow or something/highlights on the letters.

Gist - I like the C in the second one more personally...seems to flow with the letters better. Maybe try making the G a little bit more like the C in the second one and the c in the second one a bit more like the C in the first one so it's kind of in the middle. Basically just take the first one and make the bottom parts of the C and G a little shorter...I don't know why but it just looks weird to me.

zeal its boring as hell yes but go back to simple straight lines like the tuturial i just posted. itll take a while to get but once you go the leter structure down u can starting bending it and twisting it how ever you want n no one can say a thing cus itll be your style so back to blocks and you have to learn to highlight properly . dont randomly add lines think of all the lines on the right side of the leters and highlight those

here&#39;s another tip if ya&#39;ll want one...never crease your paper,try to keep it away fro the edge of your drawing surface,use the drawing that has all of the eraser marks and grease stains from picking your nose and scratching your ass,(dirty copy) as a trace template...there is no shame in tracing your own stuff ,if any body say&#39;s so they probly kiss there gramma with toungue...never throw anything away ( I have boxes and boxes of stuff just from my time here),cuz you&#39;ll never know when looking back will help you find the answers to a riddle...

musashi...[the first post]im likeing that piece its intresting but the a and the e dont really flow with the rest of the letters on the bottom half.all the bottoms of the piece are all tilted one way then the a and the e&#39;s bottoms are going the other way and wreck the flow(imo)

Musashi-looks good, like the letters better than some of your abstract ones, only thing is you should take off the little extensions one the "S"s and the "E" and I also don;t really like the double shadow thing you got going on

sky 5-I like it but it looks a little messy (the fat and skinny black outlines look a little sketchy) something I&#39;m not used to seeing in your sketches, still dope though, I just don&#39;t like the arrow and extension coming off of the top of the "S".

someone in teh old "new 2 graf" thread said none of the tutorials showed how to draw a basic simple . . . practicing simples are good for getting down letter/bar proportion and an understanding of leter structure . . top of the page is an example of teh sequence of lines i would do to draw a simple keyboard letter (when people say go simple, they usually mean keyboard simple), notice that i usually start my letters with a horizontal bar . .. the red lines going thru teh bottom BERS simple gives you an idea of how you can try and keep things proportional thru out a piece . .

top of this shows that once you can draw a proportional keyboard simple (in teh 1st column) you can then try to style it up a bit, column 2 shows how i go about tweakin a simple, i find the dominant bar in the letter (usually horizontal) then bend it (bend it in or out, try both ways and see which one looks/feels right) . .teh 3rd column of the top part shows what a styled up simple looks like now that youve bent teh dominant bar, added a few tabs and curves

top of teh bottom section shows you what a tab is and how easy they are to add at teh bottom/end of any bar, bottom bottom shows you how you can then exend that tab to this common addon (which i use as an addon or as teh bottom bar of my Es, top bars of my Ts, wherever they fit in)

so get keyboard simples down first, then move on to finding and bending the dominant bar of the letter, add a few tabs in, when you get better think about now extending the areas where you normaly put tabs and make them full addons doing what ever you want with them . . .

well if u look at it
T looks to powerfull in front of the o, this is becuase the t is wider than normal letters. to have the O in front of the T.

O dont put edges likeu have done because it dont looks write with the other letters.

R dont over lap ur line many people do it dunno y.

N need to look more powerfull so bring it to the left abit

Xsjadox- The F is ok, but take off the little indent on the top of it, your A looks like a G, i would suggest take off the lump on the left side of the A, and your last letter looks like a Y, barely

Shamee- Your "T" seems much bigger than the other letters, and on the left side of your N take of the little lump on it and make the middle bar thicker, but your R is actually pretty decent

K so here i am overlapping my simples, just to try to get a feel for it, since all i have doin for 3 months is simple letters that spaced enough not to touch :). And the "A" on the bottom is me just tryin to find some sort of style by bending the letter in diffrent ways:)

So what you guys think

acen...the simples on the top are nice. as for the a&#39;s on the bottom they arent so good, i think you may be trying to do too much too soon. for your next sketch just try to curve all the letters in one direction w/o adding anything.

fap...those simples are pretty nice, but the top of the a overlaps the bottom way to much to the point were its a little hard to read.

Chili- Personally i dont like your letters look really choppy, and i really hate your A the letter structure needs alot of help, but keep working on it

Chill - some parts of the letters are too skinny and it makes them look a lot worse like the bottom of the E and the bottom of the S. Also the whole thing just seems really empty and spaced apart as well. Maybe try fattening the letters a bit and maybe putting them closer together. Try to get them to flow.

Oh yeah and here&#39;s a simple I did for someone (I write slink) because everyone is always saying "OMG U NEED TO GO SIMPLE&#33;" So here it is...i kinda messed up the 3d on the K so just ignore that :)

seek...that is very clean and the simples are great, but the k seems a little far away from the last e imo

chili...those simples are hurtin, heres a couple tips; when you sketch do it with blocks(like on your keyboard) also dont get ahead of yourself and try to add things too quick. o and dont listen to no1r, connecting the e and s would not look good at all.

Borat- That piece smoke piece is ok just keep workin on those letters, specifcly on the S and the O

And your other piece i am not feelin it, letters in my oppinion are horribal.

Evak- Work on your letter letter structure, and 3d.

Shift- i actully find that piece very attractive :), just think you should make the letters like your "S", dont like how most of your piece is so choppy.

Esko- Its clean just work on the letters, specificly the E, it doesent go with the piece

Whathappend- I like it, just maybe work on the V

Basic- Go to block letters, and work on 3d

you have letters down when your doing simples, but as soon as you start to experiment you mess up the structure of your letters, you need to understand the structures of your letters so you don&#39;t mess them up.

thanks for the advice, i agree with everyone, i need more practice on my basics. with that one i just decided to jump ahead to see how it would turn out. im not happy with it. im more into characters than lettering, so thats where ill need to focus my attention to now.

I was going for something straight, simple and clean, unfortunately I fucked that up while coloring it, its looked a lot better just outlined. I am going to go back fix some mistakes and try again.

Hi I only just got into graffiti through somebody I met at a party a few months ago, I have been sketching for a few weeks and this is the best one out of about 5 I&#39;ve done. Please can somebody give me some feedback?

It&#39;s not the worst shit around AMansNotACamel but you need to work on learning some letter structure more before bending your letters too much. Keep at it, if it&#39;s only been a few months then you are doin ok.

actualy ther are several writers who write under &#39;case&#39;.

firstly the link u provided was to a case not caser and in completely different styles to me let alone area, although i kno for a fact ther are several other ppl rnd the globe who write caser.

secondly if ur trying to find a &#39;case&#39; example personally i would have gone with case 2 since i would regard him as a legend and is generally a much better example of writing under the persona case.

yeah, ras you shouldnt be that harsh, you dont know if he has been evolving.

tho code, keep it up and keep them simple (pick up a cartoon and take the sound effects, work around those, they&#39;re nice simples mostly)

I kinda like your letters alive, simples but with some extensions and a flowy feel to them, only thing I can complain about is the inner sketchy lines, maybe do it in pencil then ink it and eraser, other than that looks pretty good.
