xJ-onex: You should try and work without the 3D so you can see letter positioning and get the structure together more. You need to choose between trying to go for rounded letters or practicing strait styles, that sort of has both which looses flow.

ARMAwonR: Maybe work on the right side of the M for slightly less angle to more closely match the angle on the A and R (not entirely take it back to their angle though). Regardless the rawness of it looks sweet as is imo.

Nem: I fear for my testicals a little, I'd say ease up on the jagged and sharp edges and work on getting your letters more together with simpler stuff.

Theres 3d on all the places there should be, just not on those 3 squares which are clearly above the letters and arent sposed to have 3d.

krazzie...that style is too unorganized, youve got some good ideas but putting them all together makes it hard to read.

torn...the first one dont get ahead of yourself stick with simples till ur sick of em. that a is pretty good now try to make your other letters the same style/look

ASK looks nice but i would take a little more time on it, and if your using a pentel white or paint marker for the white shine i wouldnt, ive tried everything and the only thing that works are white out pens such as these http://www.keysan.com/pictures/big/xpen9556.jpg and once you get used to the squeezing and presure on the ball point tip it can write perfect. BOP, all i have to say is you should figure out what the hell your going to do before you pick up the markers.

when i start a piece, i dont think "ok maybe i will get better a little faster if i regress and draw computer text font", i usually dont intend on drawing a piece. i draw what comes to mind and what i have found looks good in previous sketches. everything experimental and compared to how i wrote when i started and began trying simples i think i have improved alot and am in fact developing a style. i was lookin through a book and picked shit out that i thought stood out in a piece and put the book down and picked up a pencil, this isnt a composition its what comes to mind when im holding a pencil. you people (lol racism) think that no matter what, the number one form of advice for anyone is to do simples, i agree i could focus more on learning letter structure but im not going to scrap everything i have picked up in the past 6 months and start drawing bullshit.

umm try doing straight letters not just lumps not dising ur style or anything but i think it would help. the thing on the s needs to b the hole back of it it cant jsut not b there or come out just inthe middle. the second one nas in my oppion the a needs to ahve something in it. u should try n use upper case letters and do a burner.

im saying that i am progressing my graffiti and it is reflecting me, not what im told. that post was really quite touching. "like a nerd at a snowboard convention", ok great graffiti is about fitting into the lifestyle. i didnt once say i was good, i pointed out the fact that i learned other things while learning letter structure, but letter structure takes alot longer to learn. learning something differently makes me a toy :rolleyes:. i really hope you realize that you may be fitting in by fighting this arguement, but its the origionality of art that is what keeps graffiti alive, not the willingness to battle or formulated advice on how to write graffiti.

whahappen ur almost there ur bottom of the S i think jsut needs to come out some more like ur K and i think u got it down thats a long time u spent on that throw up but not like anyone can much complain unless they just not feeling it at all but after ur happy with this u plan to move on to different letter styles like mixing it up and shit or no?.......And Sky u got messenger or aim or somefing

now, the only reason im posting sticks here is because i have been just randomly freestyling throws and letting my hand move around.
ive been playing around with sharp edges and i think that these throws came out hot but i wanna know what other ppl think.
and yeah, i know I overdid it on the upsidedown crosses.
