Big El- I love your work, but I'm dissapointed to see you lean on the gangsta lifestyle. That shit is played. Why glorify a way of life that gives a fuck about you or anyone you care about? I guess we all live in different realities. My reality is I have a baby girl only 3 months old who I love more than anything in this world, and I got set reppers right behind my house brawlin and screamin around all day and night and it worries me. I worry about my baby catching a stray bullet, cuzz it happened a few blocks down to some 4 and 6 year old girls.. I worry about her growing up and dealing with the bullshit that gangters leave the rest of society to deal with,..the drugs, the violence, the neglected kids who either aren't taken care of cuzz you're all (and I say "you're all" because you seem to rep the lifestyle) too pre occupied with selfish pointless shit, or locked up, and they become the unfortunate next generation of victimizers. I'm not tryin to be down on you personally, cuzz you seem like a cool cat and I rspect your style. It just seems like a sorry ass way to carry yourself, with so much potential. Why be another blank minded, gat toting, chain wearing, gold front flossing, money hungry zombie, when you could do something more? Society will be so much better off when people drop the hardcore "I don't give a fuck" ego and reconnect with their family and community.


Sorry for the chat. I just take it bad when people with so much talent rep themselves so poorly. :(

Your T has curves trash but all the other letters are constructed from strait lines. Main crit from me would be to try and let things flow more and keep the curves going throughout the word. You have the letter structure behind you but it&#39;s just looking very rigid which is loosing the feel of your style. Some of that will be corrected in paint because it&#39;s probally not going to be viable to reproduce perfectly strait lines but it would still help you progress interms of flow to loose the straitness in sketches.

look at the structure on the o, its wrong, it doesnt connect as, the bars and the hollow part doesnt make up all the space, if you know what im saying - damn, sometimes i wish there was a profession termology for letter structure :P

the foot extension on the k connecting with the s is bad, seperate the letters or connect them completly, not something inbetween - thats how i feel about connecting - goes for all letters. you cant see on a normal letter that the line is over or under the next line

asna the n is too big i like your a&#39;s though but the disproportion really throws the whole piece off on the bottom part the e is too big and the way you did your s looks awkward stick with the s in the top one
ask the s is way too small/skinny the k is wide, and take the bump off the left side of the a itll flow better with the k on the one with the tall tops of the letter not the blocky one
the blocky one looks good

Alive-I never liked the heart things on "i"s, well I did before but now they&#39;re kinda old, but you do them fairly well...

ummm the "T" is too small, "S" is too small and the "C" and "E" are a bit too big, the "IN" is really good though.

ur letters got bigger as u went. ur last letter is too far away compared to the others. lose the bottom right O extension. FOLLOW YOUR BARS OR THEY ARE POINTLESS. look at the top left O extension, should it really be that wide? the extensions on ur N&#39;s - what BAR do they come from? hmmm? and make sure all ur bars are the same width&#33; the compare the left n right side of ur O, the left is much fatter, the vertical on the E is fatter then the horizontal

dont worry abt color right now, just black and white, no 3d or fill, or forcefield. focus on the letters.

ALive- it donst look bad, yeah work on the S but other than that good.

Eske- I like the E just make sure your other letters follow that style.

And Aimo...I know youve heard this alot, but I like your old stuff better, so clean and cimple.

your letters get smaller and shorter as they go. i&#39;m really feeling the "IN" but the rest just starts to slack. once you hit the "E" it just fell apart. it looses the roundness you had in the first two letters and the letters become crammed and loose all flow. my advice would be to start over keeping the same "I" and "N" but change the rest.

What some people don&#39;t understand is that simples (block letters) don&#39;t make you develop a style...they are just used to understand structure...once you get structure down doing simples day after day after day won&#39;t do anything for you. But you can have a dope style of simples...for example Alive has been doing simples for a long time and he is slowly developing a style, adding little things here and there as he goes on and his work is always quality. The problem with what you are doing now ras, is that you are trying too hard to improve, I would just say mess around with letters and connections etc. but don&#39;t force them on your pieces, because the connections make your shit look worse than it should.

the blocky one looks good

tasty, what an ill style. mad flow. i also really really liked the top of the last 2 u posted in here, but not the bottom.

i was gonna do a bottom right extension on the T, like the other letters, but while (in my eye) it looked dope, i realized then when u step back, it looked just like a C with a wierd top left extension, but i needed to balance the top left of the piece, the big I. so i put a period on bouncingsoul&#39;s suggestion.

the only advice i can give for throwies is that i think they look best when there&#39;s a common theme, take something that you can incorporate into all the letters...for me its usually the loop at the bottom of the letters..example below

Asen..ugh..well..move the letters closer together..and try to make it flow more..i wouldnt paint untill you have simples down..

Shifty..well..that K is the most used K in the entire world of throws..try to come up with somehting else..like im sick of seeing those old skool E&#39;s always used in peoples throws..kinda generic...( i know you all was probably sick of seeing my old skool karaks lolaucaust )

but to be honest with yah..it looks fucking perfect..its clean..etc. etc. .. i just dont like the splodges in the drop shadow

krazzie..i aint feeling the O&#39;s in the G&#39;s . E&#39;s n A&#39;s..i think is you do sumthing like that..you shud do it on all letters if its capble of pulling off..like on your R&#39;s..

Kover..everything is great..but i hate the battle one...i carnt work it out ugh..that sticker i beutiful..i wouldnt put that up..

o yeah, and this from yesterday inked. i ruined it inking. my hand is so fucking unsteady, i wanted black n white, but the black ultra thin sharpie outline was so scratchy i had to add the thicker color lines. maybe ill totally fill it n itl look better.

alive..i think its loses it after the IN..i dunno..i think your E&#39;s and S&#39;s suck..but you dont do many S&#39;s..so i dont matter..id say work on your E&#39;s
