Impale: I really like your flow, placement, breaks and general letter forms, But i don't like that I can see where your bars were made (Since the fill isn't solid) It kinda just takes away from the letters. Your second E is kinda funky at the top, make it come down, like the other one, and your D is broken too much on the right side, makes it look like a C.

Raze: The right leg of your R is waayyyy wimpy, extend it, and make your letters a little smaller and thinner, they look too rounded, fat and crushed the way you have them.

Esole, I can kinda dig it. You should make your 3D a lot longer and probably go in some direction other than directly left (boring). make it longer/deeper, because you don't want to have all those spots in your letters where you can see the white of the paper behind them. It leaves a lot of negetive space that's just icky to deal with. Also your letters are kind of out of position (compare where the bottom of your S is as opposed to the bottom of your E) if you made them all follow tha ttrend, it'd look much better, but make them at least straight across if not. Also your second e is the only letter that doesn't use any lapping, it looks like it's OCD or something and it's trying to not touch the other letters, so it's bent in a weird way that throws its flow off balance.

AMRO you're on the right track with the letters.get rid of all the extensions/bits and concentrate on the main letters.The A and M are the best at the moment but keep working on them.Go to the new to graff thread and learn about how to use bars to construct equal letters.The R is out of proportion and the O's hole is too small and is positioned in the wrong place.

What I get out of writing is making people look at what I do. As a writer you have to understand that, people seeing what you've done, going "shit, that's fresh, who did that? why did they do it? how did they do it?".

You can go the same route as other writers and shit, that's fine, I personally don't care if you can or cannot read what I do. Do you think people could read some of the pieces when they started hitting the scene? The writers buried their letters behind all the shit people looked at- the connections, the colours, the fill-ins, the backgrounds.

It's not about fitting a trend, it's about learning to push the graff in your own way. Lately people forget about what the heart of writing is about, not taking up the can because you want to be famous, kid, it's because you want to open people's eyes and make them look- my brother taught me that.



I did, however, ask for some colour suggestions, if you would be so kind. I was thinking turquoise fill, light blue blend and pink characters.

Think maybe this S is better. Hmm.. still looks like shit. I'm embarrased about my throws.
Anybody have any advice about throws? Every time I try them they suck, or look like someones else ones.

Pen freestyle I made at school.

Jetpack - Too big S don't like the k leg. E should be a bit wider maybe. But good and simple.
Fube - nice and original
Soboe - Not feeling your S and R, but otherwise it's realy dope.
Deco one - Don't like the super long bars. But it's fine, just make the bars not that long.
Arsn - on first one make the letters more apart from eachother. Maybe it's only me but I can't realy read some letters beacause they are too together. Second one is realy as raped. Go do some straight letters don't even color that.
Kans - nice oneliner, N and S need work on that piece a bit. But it's dope!
Lasic - make L,A,S more separet. Use warmer colors for fill.
Desipher - that's rocking!
Shuk - take your time. the K bar is too big on the first one.
