yeah the O's are a bitch, all you can really do with them is make a regular O, just keep it proportional and the same size as the rest of your letters. once you make them all the same size and all capitals, the flow should come more naturally.

Get rid of those arrows. Don't worry about complicating your fills.
It's hard to really crit your work because I have to turn my neck, so please next time upload a regularly positioned image.
But work on making all your letters even stevens.

Dewster:
I like that bottom one, but maybe make the bottom of the L a little bit fatter, to match the E. yadadamean?

Oh, and for colors. Go grab your self a color wheel and google color theory. I would also suggest investing in a color index/codex (book of color schemes). they have them for illustration and graphic design, and also interior decorating.

if its darker than the cap color. your pressing too hard and not moving the marker fast enough. it only bleeds if you let it sit.

but honestly, who uses blackbooks these days. i just grab a pack of 400 sheets of lined paper for $1.99.

suprisingly ok for your first thing ever. the line inside the letters needs to be erased and moved to the very outside. outline your whole piece, not just your letters. its called a force field
