you tend to like curve your bars, nothing wrong with that but I think the bars still need a lil work b4 you move into that. STRAIGHT LETTERs is all you should worry about right now, and this goes for everyone starting out , write other words and letters while your still learning shit, dont let just 4 of your letters progress. otherwise its not bad but its not great either, just keep at it.

personally I don't like letters that look like they've been cut off at they're extensions. Instead of curving your bars a little in the middle like you did on the bottom and top of the e(the extensions coming off I mean)
Try curving your bars in a dramatic fashion, but you'll know whether or not you can pull this off yet if it looks like shit. Just play around with things a bit more. You'll find parts of letters you've never seen before, or how you can make things LOOK like something, where you've never thought of doing such a thing.

THE BARS YOU CAN CURVE EASIEST AND HAVE THEM LOOK THE BEST ARE THE LONGEST ONES. i.e. the part of the E that is long. Simpler upon simpler.

Whoa bud, yeh im taslking about your bars, with eh random little extension on the super skinny top.
And this was an incredibly old sketch finally colored.

Top extension is a common extension to the A, and it connects to the Middle bar to the Legs of an A. By the way your arrows are coming out of random places, and how about that looped extension on your O.

Im just giving crits here. yeh its a common extension, but its usually done well. Your bars are too skinny at the top, and it doesnt follow a line through the centre of the A. and for the 3rd time, i know the sketch is bunk, its like 2 years old. JUST filled.

If you haven't noticed that's the style im going for, i like my bars skinner at the top and thicker at the bottom. Also the extension follows correctly, just follow the angle it's going. By the way your fill is wack. Keep a consistent gradient, like blue at top and green at the bottom part of the letters, plus keep your strokes path as consistent as possible. When doing 1 point 3d like that i like to make my strokes go towards the point, don't do any horizontal shit.

in my opinion, you're using too much color and colors that dont go well together. but then again, i color comics on my tablet and been doin so for about 4 years so im accustomed to that style now. havent done graffiti in forever.

1st one, looks like you concentrated more on coloring it that my eyes go towards the background instead of the letters themselves, and it should be the opposite.

2nd one, i have no idea what it says, the fill is nice though, nice and solid.

3rd one, are those "p"s or "g"s? aint feeling that style of coloring, looks like something i'd see on a highschool banner.

would comment on the structure of your letters but each person has their own style and will eventually find something that fits them.
