the S is good.
for the M, if you have the bars in your P and A bending outward, don't make the M bend inward. it looks weird. try and get a simple style of letters that flows BEFORE you start adding extensions. then you won't have to worry.

Fill the S out, so it sits better next to your A.
Shorten the extensions on your E just a touch.
Shorten the base of your 2, round it out (Follows more of a circle), and make the weight sit right above its base.

Jokz: Nice and clean man. The only thing that I think would make it look better is if you actually connected those portions of the letters, rather than making breaks in them. On the top two, they look a little 'choppy' if you know what I mean. Some of the bars look out of place, but together, it doesn't look all that bad.

Snore: Work on that S a little bit and watch out on that left bar on your N- it kinda looks like an h, so keep an eye on that. Also, try using that letter style without the cracks for now and play around with drop shadows, 3d, etc. and you've got yourself a solid simple.

Take note of the "bars" that make up each letter. ie. A M is made of 4 "bars", one making up each upright and two making the V in the middle. Think of every letter as being made up of little rectangles, and draw them that way.

Thats the only lesson I'm giving you until you listen. ;)

To repeat what I've said once before, Bending is like puberty. It happens naturally on its own, you can't force it to happen. I was once where you are right now, if I listened to advice like this I would probably be chillin' in the big boy threads by now. Instead I stumbled and learned on my own like your trying to do, and by shear force of will I walked away with a dope handstyle (and weak everything else). I got frustrated and quite twice, but graffiti never quite me. So here I am now, chillin' with the toys once again. Learning, working, and TAKING GOOD ADVICE from people who know what their talking about. Just fucking do what we tell you, guys, we know from experience this is how to learn it best.

Not necessarily 'complete straight computer letter style', but something much less simple than what you're shooting for. You want to shoot for a look that represents what the actual letter looks like rather than adding extensions that hide the structure of the letters if you know what I'm saying. Simples are easily readable, clean, and accurately project the structures of letters. Play around with proportionate bars and gradually work in bends once you understand that. Then you can tweak the bars even more once you gain a better understanding of the forms. Just don't move too fast- it's a gradual process that takes a lot of time and dedication.

Work on cleaning up your lines and popping out a really clean looking straight letter before you go bending bars too. Your 3d is way off too (your O doesn't even have 3d). Know that practicing simples will give you a better understanding of the structures, and in effect, let you know what you can and can't do to crank out dope looking sketches.

It's nice, but you are missing some spots where shadows belong. there are shadows on the bottom of some letters like your O, but not the rest. keep it consistent.

I say get rid of the arrow. n try not to have so many notches or w/e. like make ur letters look more smoother. n that top cross bar needs to go on the H. it looks like an a. idk ur close but it looks like u have to many unnecassary things coming off your letters. try to mirror the image with what u do one one side that u do on the other if u get that like with ur chips off the letters n all that.

just clean it up with what u have coming off the bottom right of your letters

n this one. make sure all your bars of your letters are all the same width. everywhere. maybe try to round your s more so it looks like it can breathe. your second e is better. get rid of all the little notches. make it nice n clean so no one will bitch. (as in the middle part of the e.) shit i wouldnt even worry about coloring or nothing . since the goal of graffiti is letter structure. a 3 year old can color riight

SEEK- I think if you make the vertical bar of the K a little more fat on the top it will flow more with the first three letters and the right half of the K looks like keyboard font while the rest of the letters are funked up dont really think it matches. The size of the letters and the 3D are good though

Are you serious man? GTFO. If you have only been writing for a few days your not worthy to even post here. Work on your letter and don't come back for like a year till you have something decent, because i know exactly what your gonna do just like half the other people on here. Your gonna change one letter or one little thing in your throwie because somebody gave you a crit and then your gonna come back and post pictures which look exactly the same as last time. Look at other people throwies and try to copy their letters and make them your own. And for now use one color. better yet don't bother about colors. Learn to draw decent letters. I'm not trying to be harsh but don't come post anything until it's worth posting.

Its a cool concept, but without a lot of time and skinny caps that is going to be hard to paint on a wall.

I mean go with it if you can, just dont expect it to turn out like the black book sketch of it.

I really only have a limited amount of sharpies, which I know is weak as hell, but I'm broke and working on it. Don't do my pieces like that....what aspect..like trying toget all 3d crazy?? so predator. the first one. i can hardly tell what it is. a C im guessing. trying to distinguish it as more of a c. so no arrows. get rid of whats on the top part. get rid of the thing on the bottom left of it . keep the bars of your letters the same ALL the same size n bring the top closer to the right. so it looks like a c. on the second one the first b is good just get rid of that arrow. NO ARROWS. the second b get rid of that wart looking thing on the top left sticking out. and get rid of that whale tail looking thing on the bottom right n ur good. on the third . like i said keep the bars of the letters all the same size n get rid of the bottom left thing. on the second c get rid of how it like comes out to a point on the bottom n top part of the c. keep it simple. as in straight bars . on the third c brind the left side of it more toward the left n have that top left thing not be touching the top part of the c. there ya go bro

Mmk...I think I took this as simple as I could. Style is kept to an absolute minimum. No arrows. I used graph paper (which I almost never do...but I wanted my letters to be the same size). So assuming this is simple. And indeed an acceptable step...what should be added on next to progress it...or what needs to be edited before that can happen.

ryser- when inking, try to make longer strokes. u can tell u are sketchy with it. try making a line go from corner to corner. makes it look cleaner. as for the letters, i dont really like them. its good that u are using bars, but try to make them the same thickness and have a kind of flow.
