A "burner" in traditional graffiti terms, is a full color, full scale, epic piece, often involving characters, or some sort of huge background art piece.

His piece says Consume. It's definitely not a burner, but it IS technically a piece. I don't like how you made it lean. I don't like any of it. The structure has little style to it, it's just block letters with a bunch of shitty extras... it makes it look ugly. Sorry dude, no beef, I just don't think it qualifies for intermediate (Answering your question in the Intermediate thread), and I don't think it's a good piece. Also, the extensions are pretty ugly.. As well as the color scheme, the highlights, and the 3D (which I can't tell if it's leaning to the S or the middle of the U, which is not a good thing.)

Harp- as told to me before, start off simple to understand the basic forms of the letters, look at the keyborad. your R looks like its got a ... what was the phrase i saw before.. oh a scary movie arm!! your 3D is wack. but all your shit isnt completly bad. ive seen worse! go slow brah.

ZOO- your U looks like a W with that extra piece coming up from the middle. other than that, to me the piece looks good. but then again i am in the TOY section!!! :D maybe some type of background or colors inside.. really i dont think its bad, just that U and loose those pieces in the C too.

Finding a new name atm, so im just messing around with things till i find one to stick with.

Aktag: Im agreeing with KaSo on the R, it needs to be defined more it could be interpreted as a k to. But overall its solid.

KaSo: The lettering is very good, clean and bars are even. The 3d is ok, not a whole lot of shading going on. Also the lime green 3d overpowers the gingerbread man who kinda melts into the the bricks. The resp on the character could use work too. The background i think shows that you put a lot of effort into the piece.

superjafar- Give the second bar on the R a little curve and make it stick out a little more redeyes- I think it would look better if you curved the I the other way aseh- keep doing simples. Try to keep your letter proportional slek- I Prefer you older stuff. When I try, I can make the bars the same thickness, I'm just trying to find where I can make shit bend, add extensions, etc, to make my letters more piece-like, if you will. Also, I'm trying to get down the flow, since I suck mad hard when transferring to a wall.

Anyway, the fills clean, 3D's a bit short in some places, but looks good overall.

zen-the first few are bad. the last one has the most potential. the best thing i can tell you is to keep it simple til you get a little better letter structure.

Slek- dont extend the bottom bars of your L and E. and i wouldnt have your L overlap your S quite so much. your e and k are solid looking letters though.. and dope fill.

i agree, its not as easy on paper to make straight lines though, and for me being accused of using rulers when i know i dont is a compliment... making straight lines with paint is just a matter of holding the can at a defined angle and cutting back over another color, even squint's last pic had some nice clean lines...

Like when I do a simple letter throwie on paper it comes out all unproportional and messed up. But when I paint it my letters are how they're supposed to be.

it's because you don't draw straight lines. i free hand straight line drawings in school all day, but thats just my style, so i can free hand straight shit easily and it comes out proportional. i actually have the ability to draw 2 lines perfectly parallel to each other without a ruler.

Siko: I'd pay more attention to the way your letters lean, individually. For example, your S sits neutral, your I leans a bit to the left, your K leans a bit to the right, and your O leans a lot to the left. It kinda messes with your flow, so work ideally getting all of the letters leaning in the same direction and it should look quite a bit better. Clean lines, coloring, and shadow though.
