DUDE, when you use your pencil to outline, are you, like, going in an up and down motion so the line stands out a bit? if so, stop that stuff. work the pencil with grace handle it like a woman (or xbox controler in your case JK) until you lay a light line down very smoothly. then you do add ons and outline the shit from there. its so fuckin easy to understand. im just trying to help you out. or if youre doing simples for now, work on putting 3-d or drop shadows on them big fat strate letters. hope i helped a lil bit tho. literally.

It's good in my honest opinion, but that bar that starts out the I is really long and it sorta kills it. the colours are really nice, really nice choice of colours.

That M is good but when about its going to bend down to make the other half, that bar popping out is sorta crappy. take that out. then it will look good

i dont understand how the letters arent legible. i can read the most wildstyles easily, seriously. i accept crits but i know that shit you talking about WOULD be easily misconstrued by alot of cats. Those letters are nothing but letters, no extensions at all, but i know what you think are extensions are just the form of the letters going in a mechanical/organic direction. i wanted to make it bubbly and also attempt to work on my personal "simple/wildstyle/technical/throwie" letters/words

on another note it was all done with a ball poijt pen with no pencil and i cant see any fuck ups, anywhere on tha damn thing. im not taking your crits in a gay ass e bitch way, i take all and any crits to evolve but i know im past the advice youve given me. i really do appreciate your comments tho. sincerely.

Take - i would work on the structure a little more, keep the bars the same width and make the K and the E more visible on the last two. Sketch it with pencil first and when you get what you like, go over in marker.

Nicc - Like the first piece but i cant see a C. if its the tiny bit you should make it bigger. Love the pen in the second piece, what kind was it. also is it Niik?

mabye i ranted a bit but hey, im only human. these are all sketches. nothing serious. but i just dig my own style. my letter structure is usually genius. thanks for the crits tho,cousin.

BUT......i stand by my statement that most of these incredible peices sketches burners whatever ya wanna call em are masked by fills to disguise the fact that the letter structure is stale/wack/bitten or just toy.

take- the one with red bubbles is ok, the one with blue bubbles ur trying too hard and it just looks bad, i just dont like changing styles for each letter... the last one is good though, the gray just makes it look sloppy, use a bright color for the outline...

gotsta work on ur 3d tofe, many mistakes there... and remember what i said yesterday about the lines in ur bars not matching up...

stot it just doesnt look right, i see what ur goin for, and the S is slick for a throw, but im not diggin the style changes in the same piece

safer i like the S, but the arrow extension shouldnt be thicker than the bars in the letter IMO, and it looks too much like the shape of an A... the spot thats shattered might throw u off when u try to make out the S, so maybe shatter the extension part and itll fix both problems...... the fuck china just seems to start a bit small and get bigger on both words, bring the left bar of the F up, and the left bar of the H down and make the C a little bigger and it should look right... is that a thorough crit? hah

STOT- I see what your going for but its not really workin. The letters alone are nice, but put together it's not that good. Though I'M FEELIN THE TOT AND R (oops caps lock I'm not feelin them THAT much lol) Do some nice straights with those and what up wit the fill?

Your kind off getting it. Letters are constructed out of bars which you use in the H and M.
Try to keep all bars the same size and don't do any add ons. Read the new to graffiti thread and don't try to make it look to much like graffiti at first

Re-draw of a previous piece. I'm gonna change up the R a bit and color it. Anyone have ideas for colors? I was thinking a blueish fade with a purple outline. dunno yet. Might add some half assed background too crits?

from what i know freestyle does not involve pencil.....

realtalk, get a whole new "G" cuz that ione aint flowing at all. the face is cool but kinda played. IMO. you got the other letters looking pretty good tho just work on speed. speed + good letters = what you want. do it over and over and over again dude youll memorize the motions and youll be set trust me. i DO know what im talkin bout. hope that helps dude.
