well alot of people use thin markers to colour in the piece's..because it doesnt look all sketchy..first..choice your colours wisely..colours that go with each other or u can do it the other way around .."colours thats dont go"..and start colouring iit in..and once ur get ur colours..u can try and add stuff to the in side of ur piece..like flames..bubbles..stripes stuff like that..and once ur happy with it...go get ur paint and get ur self a nice practice wall..and get on with the paint :D :ph34r: :D

DO NOT DRAW FLAMES&#33; they look fuckin horrid in graff...only toys draw flames in my experience

and dont play with paitn for a while just work on yourp eices and shit...you dont need ot do paint...dont get too excited for it...practicewalls aint any better than doing paper except you cant crumple it up and throw it away

Needs cleaning up and I got to buy some markers when I get my £30 but thats in these oil pastel pens I suppose the colour is ok but then damn pastels are to thick to draw outlines :angry: Oh and I had a play with the shadowing just to see how it&#39;d look.

Here...not trying to be a dick, just some pointers...

#1 your shadow is waaay too big for that stub on the M
#2&3 The type of shadows your trying to do make it look like the piece has moved..your 2 and 3 shadow angles are totally opposite.. they don&#39;t have the same motion...the one is facing the wrong way.

rogan, that is alright i guess, but id try to make the letters even in size ... when ur not looking zoomes at it, it loooks like it fading away, cause its huge on the left, and small on the right. i wouldn&#39;t focus on that style though.

but on a serious note, the m looks good but the e and s look liek you tried to hard on it...stay basic and for now try and round out your edges and youll find your letters looking better i think...also in my experience for early writers its easier to do lowecase letters and have them look good

whoever did the EBBS piece, you could learn a lot from the MES piece. notice that all the 3d extending lines match up at one point.

ur 3d kind of looks sloppy to me but i dont know ur just as good as me but when i do my 3d i use a vanashing point and make all the edges line up with the vanashing point basically what u do is pick a point where u want ur 3d to come from and the put a little dot there and then u take a ruler and from each corner or where ever the 3d looks good make it in the direction of the point

edit: and what people tell me that helps a lot is to make ur letters all the same width for example ur v one section of it is very thin and the other setion of it is fat make them the same width and it should look better thats what people tell me and i think it works

ill give u some help. step one do the letters ok step 2 take a ruler and make all of ur 3d letters one length and straight. step three if u want to do 3d then look at each individual letter and think about were the 3d would b shown ok the top part of the extension of the e would have a 3d part on it. so just keep working on it fairly good letter structure and the orange lines are kool but make sure there parallel to the letter

im trying to get a wildstyle effect, so i can paint it on my wall. Only thing is that i come up with joints that look alike..what&#39;s the easiest way to get the laying down look?..everytime i do a 3d effect it looks like a birds eye view..

Kronik, how do my lines suck? lol seriously, please elaborate. Cire, you cant ecpect to do wildstyle well yet. If you try a wildstyle piece it will most likely turn out like "scope/obre"&#39;s lol. just keep working man. If u want somthing for your wall, do a really simple one and add detail like cracks, and a drop shadow, and highlights.
