sky and tasty your shit doesnt really belong here, and anyone giving you advice, including myself is most likely quite under your skill level, however, since you asked:


despite the toy rule of "no arrows" im a fan of them when executed correctly ( peep bacon, HSA of toronto for some nice arrows ) i just feel like theres a BIT too many in yours sky, because they arent even needed that much seeing as though the letter structure is generic but on point, so maybe calm it down just a tad and keep up the fresh colouring

tasty, that left side of the A is hurtin, especially the bottom where it comes to that awkawrd point, the handystyles nice, and im a fan of those sketches^ ( i.e they dont have to be coloured and clean to pop ), i can make out your letters easily enough, but whats with the little fangs that dart out of each letter? like the bottom of the S, top left of te first T, bottom left of the A etc? lose some of those, or make them work better and ittle look a bit cleaner

work on the first 2 letters and dont make the part of the R thats supposed to b round squared like it is...make it rounded

Beone: I thought it said CC... It did look pretty toy, so dont go putting up just yet. Have a sketching session instead. Maybe make the letters a bit clearer (the holes in the B and e). And dont go starting on people after recieving negavtive crits. If that's how you roll then dont bother showin us your stuff.

Quake: I could see where you were going with that piece, my only crits are to work on the letters (practice each letter individually on scrap paper).

Sky 5: That piece looks deep. end of.

but some other tips...hmm u could get red of all the spikes and stuff on the U
and replace the Q ...the Q need a lot more work on it..or just a new Q
the rest is ok...i didnt relay understand the line in the E so i got rid of it
also its good to keep ur letters at a pretty much equal width

haha yeah the bubbles do suck lol, apart from that, i really like the top and bottom style. maybe goes a tinnnny bit too small at the bottom of the c.... and the xtra bits like the arrow and the bit on the S in the first one dont really add to it.. id keep it as a nice easy simple as it is, cos its real nice.

i really like the pink throwie.. it works well throughout, not really feelin the blue un. only bit on the pink one i dont like is the bump on the S

tweaked the letters a lil bit, the fill dont help

gift it looks like you made the letters tall and skinny just so you could squish them together. the flow is all north south, work some lines that go sideways (which makes it harder to have the letters linedup/positioned right with each other but thats the pain and point of it all

gift however, im afraid it is that bad. forget the colours for a week or so. spend ages sketching in pencil over and over. draw the letters much more simple, and wider. make each letter the same heigh and width throughout, like on your keyboard, and start from there. thats the best way to start, and then once u do that and it looks nice u start to twist the letters a bit..

That fills got some heavy potential... I think if the fading of blues and white was does with prismas or something it would look gangsta...

It&#39;s just that at the mo&#39; the fill&#39;s drawing the eye away from the piece structure...

now I&#39;m really rambling.

its not a bite at all the only nov york stuff ive seen was on syn i added the extention of the left part of the n because he had it and i thought it looked good

the n is similair but not the same at all to that bomb but the v is completly different

^its ok but if u made the lines straight it would be better

also if u want all the letters to be the same size ( would look better) take a ruler and draw two lines one for the top and one for the bottom(a plus for drawing)

3d is all over the place have it like light hitting one side

also take the extentions on the f and e off or add them to the t and i

take the underline from the i out its looks bad
