the 3ds a lil messed up on the ne and you should try to give more style to your hands, and i dont like the jagged part jutting out on the 5 but its probably better than i could do

I know that the angle isn&#39;t quite consistant from left to right(the a leans more than the k). What do you think? I was gonna add more of a background, but wanted to see what you all thought first. I know I am a toy and just getting started, but any comments will help a lot.

I&#39;d lose the pink halo thingy if I was you and the black blob thingies.

Move the &#39;n&#39; closer to the &#39;Ame&#39; cause it doesn&#39;t look like part of the sketch.

Also all your letters have a like &#39;kink&#39; in the middle except your &#39;A&#39;, either add it to the &#39;A&#39; or taking it out of the &#39;E&#39; could work.

All in all it&#39;s pretty good.

EDIT:

Also the if you&#39;re gonna use the &#39;kink&#39; thing you need to make the kink in the &#39;n&#39; more like the one in the &#39;m&#39; and &#39;E&#39;.

Also your &#39;M&#39; isn&#39;t right, look at the top, it should just have one line coming down not two, if you know what I mean.

now heres what i want u to do learnitup, fit each letter into a square. take your time with a pencil, make each stroke or bar of the letter the same width. use bars like you were on the N in the top right corner. put the letters so theyre ALMOST touching. dont bother filling, or adding 3d yet. do NOT add ANY style. dont use curves. dont use a ruler though, u gotta stay pure, by hand. if u do what i say, ill help you get far.

the same advice goes for phish, and the other kid on this page in green, and almost every1 whos posted in the past few pages, without the obvious exceptions.

For a simple, as im hoping this is a simple the flow of it all is nice.

THe H is really nice for a simple letter actually, and the I is good too the top of the L is kinda weird, im not a fan, and the should be squarish like the rest of your eltters, plus the bottom of its really weird...and the ONE attached to it is ubbly and doesnt flow nicely at all, fix that

MAker a Laker: I like it a lot, the ball on the front letter sticks out but in a good way

ESKI: i don&#39;t know much about throws but the b looks overshadowed by the larger letters. leave out the inner parts of the thow for know and work on that drop shadow. rememer its basically the throw in black shift down and left or up and right or w/e

RUMS: Things are 2 complicated for me , the s is ridiclious. R and U arn&#39;t too too bad cept the wierd way the r dissapears behind the u. You are also missing the 3d in places

she- it&#39;s quite clear that the letters are badly bitten. aside from that, pick one style and stick to it, as opposed to having 3 different letters of pretty different styles, nahmean?

eski- get rid of the random bumps and bits, it&#39;s so jolty, try and make your letters smoother, to flow better.

eski- not feelin the top of yer B, and the 3D is a bit off. i like the e and the s though. The b and k don&#39;t really seem to fit the rest of the flow...

Bartic-I think the structure looks pretty good. The first s needs a bit more length to the bottom in my opinion. Also, work on your k&#39;s. They are the only letters that seem to interrupt the flow you have going on. Nice work.

work on keeping all of the letters the same size. I have troubles with this too. Do you see how your n is small and then the a and i get progressively bigger? Also, i don&#39;t like how each letter kinda is bending to fit around the one in front of it. Make each letter have the same orientation and basic shape, don&#39;t mold each new letter to the last. I am not sure if this makes any sence, and i am not exactly good at this stuff either, but that is the best i can tell you

id drop the stars/moon and the characters. The bubbly cloud thing and the skyline would work fine if you left them as is. I just dont really think that the karaks really add anything to it. the piece itself is looking pretty clean, though i might suggest that you block off that point on your w. It kinda ruins the flow in my opinion. Otherwise, the letters are good, and the 3d is ok(just watch the bottom of the s and w). Throw some coor on it and your set.

sorry to say it but it sucks... look at phishs stuff and try out letters like his (straight edge) curvy edges are difficult to do well when you first start out, it&#39;s hard to keep the letter width the same.

beone - the bottom left purple one looks best . . looks like you eithe r used a better black marker for that one tha the others or you figured out how to kind of lightly hold the marker and make a nice clean smooth stroke ....i generally dont try and use an arrow as a cap/end piece to one of my bars on a letter, i save that for extensions . . but just sketch a bunch of letters on a page and fill notebooks with no thought of trying to do a color piece ..when you get somethin good maybe color the 3d or just give it a forefield . .the second hour of sketchin pays off alot moere than the first hour . . you aint a suppa wack toy so your already ahead of alot of people . . .

alright, the only letter i like, not trying to be harsh but yeah, the only letter im feelin is the V, its nice and simple .

the n&#39;s ok too actually

the t and s are extremely chopp,y and the E&#39;s dont flow with the rest of the style, try to include a little bar in the middle instead of just a point

keep the right side of your H like the left, side, just simple and curved, and do the same with all your letters

you have a blocky style and it doesnt flow that nicely, you&#39;re trying to do add ons by just adding more squares and its not working out


lose the colour for a while, and if you&#39;re going to colour, at least take some time on your 3D

word. ok thanks. ive had a lot of trouble with the middle bar in E&#39;s.

my "blocky" style is only because the only was i know how to form letters is with bars, which always seems to give it that feel for me. i also usually only work with pen, no pencil, just using light lines and darkening, but it means ur pretty much stuck with what u have once youve got it. as i said, i usually work fast with pen then too, the letters took me a very short time. ill try to spend more time on the letters. i think ill try pencil again, the reason i usually dont give use it is b/c 1) sharpening pisses me off 2) stuff seems to flow more easily with a pen. i dunno y. ur right about color, its distracting me from the letters, and ive told the same thing to countless other people here. id love it if you you could give me advice on how to avoid the blockyness, and im gonna start posting my work more like i used to.

you need the let the letters flow, even bars can be circular
and use pencil. its better to draw it in pencil and be able to fix it, then to be stuck with it
you might learn something doing it in pencil
or use one of them mechanical pencil thingies thin lines that you can go over in pen if you feel the need to
