alright, the only letter i like, not trying to be harsh but yeah, the only letter im feelin is the V, its nice and simple .

the n's ok too actually

the t and s are extremely chopp,y and the E's dont flow with the rest of the style, try to include a little bar in the middle instead of just a point

keep the right side of your H like the left, side, just simple and curved, and do the same with all your letters

you have a blocky style and it doesnt flow that nicely, you're trying to do add ons by just adding more squares and its not working out


lose the colour for a while, and if you're going to colour, at least take some time on your 3D

word. ok thanks. ive had a lot of trouble with the middle bar in E's.

my "blocky" style is only because the only was i know how to form letters is with bars, which always seems to give it that feel for me. i also usually only work with pen, no pencil, just using light lines and darkening, but it means ur pretty much stuck with what u have once youve got it. as i said, i usually work fast with pen then too, the letters took me a very short time. ill try to spend more time on the letters. i think ill try pencil again, the reason i usually dont give use it is b/c 1) sharpening pisses me off 2) stuff seems to flow more easily with a pen. i dunno y. ur right about color, its distracting me from the letters, and ive told the same thing to countless other people here. id love it if you you could give me advice on how to avoid the blockyness, and im gonna start posting my work more like i used to.

you need the let the letters flow, even bars can be circular
and use pencil. its better to draw it in pencil and be able to fix it, then to be stuck with it
you might learn something doing it in pencil
or use one of them mechanical pencil thingies thin lines that you can go over in pen if you feel the need to

you need a lot of work on your handstyle, get rid of the arrow going through the middle and that strange z shaped underline thing. as for the throw up, i don&#39;t think the A fits with the J and the Y because it is too square and the others are quite round. the Y just doesn&#39;t look enough like a Y. i think that the J has potential so work on that and then redo the rest of the letters in the same style

seperate the legs of the A so it defines the letter, instead of being a wierd ass O. Make ur S an S, right now its an e. Make ur e smaller like the rest of the lettesr. lose the face n spits.

The only thing I personaly would have done a bit different is the S and Z I don&#39;t like the gaps inbetween the middle bar and the tops and bottoms (More so the corners.)

I would&#39;ve lowered/raised them, and made them a wee bit longer. But that&#39;s just me.

apoc, this is pretty much an all around rule in graf, when letters overlap, 3d is cancled out. never put 3d over a letter, it just looks bad. all around tho the structure is nice...i guess..

From what I can see it&#39;s looking good. The A looks a little like runci&#39;s style but I&#39;m not gunna call you out on biting cause it isn&#39;t that similar. I think that there should be something off the R that kinda looks like the thing off the W to balance it out a little but still good job. Did you freehand the soldier shadow or did you get a pic?

Geez 3 bumps in a row with no crits.


GOK - Go to simples no extentions or anything of that sort. Also try to clean up your lines. They look too much like a sketch.

SKA - Keep your letters the same hieght. See how the A is a crap load shorter than the S and the K is a little shorter than the S...That&#39;s not good.

MISR - The legs on the charac are way too skinny, work on your lines, and possibly make the hole in the R just a little bit smaller. Also try to color better because there&#39;s places with no color and the places where the green goes outside the lines.

Try to keep the second A closer to the R and the R looks a little weird in the middle. I kinda like those flare things except with the pink. The E just kinda seems too big with the bottom circle like thing. It just takes up too much space compared to the rest of the letters. Lose the bubbles by the way because they look like shit.

it really has to come together and form one line to make it look like a O.
