Worry about what ya'll are doin' with your artwork. That should be first priority.

It's a good way to try out color combo's without making swatches and wasting paint. And even when you compare colors on paint websites, you can only do a few at a time.

Started working on this today in my garage, really would appreciate as much advice as possible! Its my 3rd piece of graffiti ever. Its suppose to say FATE, but I realize it looks like it says FAIL and I think its hilarious.

The lower space between the F and the A is suppose to be an arrow, as is the middle part of the A. I was going for an even number of arrows points up and down.

How can I make it more full bodied? I'm planning on added more arrows and little side stuff.
Tips on blending? Not even sure if I want that color scheme anymore.
Anything about anything would really help.

The last picture is of the paints I have to use. I plan for the backround to be yellow, red, and orange faded together.

As you can tell I used tape to get the text to fit okay on the ply-wood, I plan to play around with the letters a lot more to make them less straight. I messed up a few times, thats why there are a few random lines strewn about. This thing has been a bitch to make fit on this board.

zook, HUGE throws are whats up! the C is way bigger than the rest of the letters tho, and i'm not a fan of the little serif and the end of the C. either make it bigger or omit it. adn ur missing 3D on the top of ur letters. and if it's a drop shadow, ur still missing a lil bit
and many pple will have a different opinion, but in regards to throws, if you take 2 seconds a do some real simple cuts, throws look 100x better than w/o them. some pple will disagree saying that throws shoudl be grimy and uncut, but just my 2 cents

-If your just writing on a notepad and dont really care then it right it dosent matter.
-You wouldnt think of writing Cope2 or Tkid...but because you dont know your history and really what is going on in the graff world (minus the commercial part and what you learned on bs) you think its alright to write GS.
-I found out I was writing someone elses name b4 I changed it thats just how it goes.

Now! To clarify. Graff has been around for at least 20 years. ( Speaking of mentors.. yours should have told you that? ) In closing, I will say that if I have been writing something for a year/ years.. and someone on BS tells me to not write it chances are I owe nothing to some person I don't know.
