The white fill was done in Color Place. The black, yellow, orange and blue were Rusto. The pink frosting was by Molotow.

I use a lot of CP for base fills on trains and mist over with Rusto to get it solid. You can still see some bar lines but fudge it.

Molotow is my favorite paint but I really like the high pressure flow of Rusto. I wanna' try the HP Molotow but it's very hard to get around here.

Side note, I noticed Molotow changed their usage policy on the side of the can. It used to just say 'Use for art' now it says 'Use for art, not vandalism.' Lol.

and it's not that easy to do a proper euro piece, they may make it seem easy to make those huge colorful bubble/symmetric pieces. . there's allot more thought put into it than you think.

So 2 friends and I painted this highway wall last summer. We used design master paint. This wall gets covered up by a lot of foliage but still faces the sun. So today I went over and checked them out. They faded like fuckk. Yellow turned to white. The blue didn't fade that bad but still did. Obviously the black outline is there because it was rusto. Fuck you design master.

How about tips on using paint markers on skin? I noticed that when the first lines dry on your fill, it can be kind of 'bumpy' when you slide the black over the white for the outline.

Last time i posted pics the only advice i got was "stop painting" I was under the illusion that if you wanted to get better at something you had to actually do it, however i started writing alot more on paper and then went back and painted walls. the lettering needs some work, the highlights are not on point, try putting your highlights right next to your outline, dont leave any space, three dee is okay, you could have cut it to get it crisp. good job though.

pretty good crits blast... also like i said wgone put the highlights on the opposite side of the bar that the 3d comes off of... for example if the 3d is considered the "low light" and goes to the left, the highlight in the bar of the letter should be on the right side, and so on

Really feeling your colors and the 3d it looks tight man. The flare on the left is also lookin' good. I would just work on your letter structure just a little bit, then it will be amazing. Another thing you need to work on is getting out of these toy forums, you don't belong here anymore lol

hipe dont mix straight lines and bubbly letters like that... just move the can faster when u do ur outline and the lines will have more flow.

also if u wanna avoid running out of paint like the 2nd pic, u should do a faster, less complete fill on every letter to start off, then u can go back to dust over the incomplete parts with whatever is left in the can

and dont alternate colors on each letter of a throw, at least not red white and blue, i think those colors look corny together in any situation though

REK not bad for ur first bomb... where the e overlaps the k should be the same thickness as the rest of the outline nawmean?... personally i woulda went with a capital E since the R and K are....... try a bubble letter throwup i wanna see what it looks like



emba ur getting great at laying down the paint...
however, i think ur 3d is suffering (inside of the B it doesnt follow the bar on the top or bottom, its missing inside the A and E... based on the bottom of ur E and A it should be on the bottom of the M and B too) what i think u should do next time u paint a piece is try to make the 3d the exact thickness of the bar its coming off of, itll just be way more convincing i think, like i said ur great at laying down paint, once u know exactly where to put it ur shits gonna be that much hotter...

fnk i would avoid letting ur letters overlap to the point where its too close, like the US that little part inside the U thats supposed to be part of the s, coulda just moved the S over a bit and u wouldnt haveta do that... also u should try all capital letters or something, the E is just too small and its floating away... i think itd look better without the yellow too, or if u just used to yellow for highlights instead of all over

Cause- Try to make your letters even, such as the bottom of the letters not all being at the same level. It will look cleaner.

Make these letters a little more simple. Make it so the bars of the first L and the top of the E don't touch. Get rid of that same curve on the bottom for all the letters. Make each letter curve a little bit to get an even curve amongst the bottom of all of your letters. Make the letters the same size too. You could cut back on some lines to clean things up.


On the ups, you seem to have some idea what you're doing with 3D and drop shadow. Decent can control also.

Hit the books and be patient.

ashis start by doing basic keyboard simples ..lose all the add ons and get basic proportions down. You cant look at advaned writers pieces and think you can just jump into that type of style.. shit takes years or so I hear. Just some advice from one toy to another.

vise id use thick outlines, makes it stronger plus makes cutting back much more easy...its something lots of people should do

im only talkin about the second outline... the yellow line all around, which is (in my eyes) consistent in most parts by which i mean same thickness no drips...a few cut backs here n there would help though

Kew, people keep telling you to focus on your letter structure and you keep ignoring them crits and seem to be concentrating on them wacked out crazy fills. Get off that crazy shit. Make it look pretty after your letters are solid. Graffiti isn't about illegibility and eye cluster fucks due to annoying color combos.

And when you do some crazy white twirls like that shit, do it right. All you did was fill it in blue and then add the crazy white swirls and then the outlines.
In the U to K combo, you can see the white line continue on the same path from the U to the K. It gives the letters a flat two dimensional look. Try and mix up where the line starts and where it ends on each letter. Make it different. That shit's sloppy. Doesn't look right.

Please, go simple. Or you're gonna' keep gettin' tore up.

This is much better. Work on your highlights. Get rid of some funky extensions.

i think this might just be my taste, but you should connect the two extensions coming off the right side of the K. there is a little gap between, might look better if you close it
